“Absolutely shocking service arrived at our booked time for Sunday lunch.was told there was no beef. Our friends arrived half hour later fotr here booked time of 4pm they was told they couldn't order until 4pm so they sat with drinks. Then at 4 pm they was told there's no Sunday roasts. Meanwhile were still waiting for our food that was ordered 45 mins prior... So with this poor service we decided to walk out with our friends. Staff not helpful at all sonthey lost probably £300 from our two tables. Get more staff and get more meat when you can clearly see with the bookings that its going to be busy and the only excuse the staff could give was there busy which they would have known this since every table was booked”

“I walk down to this pub regularly with my dogs, and the staff are always welcoming regardless of how busy they are with meals. The garden area I really like, it has a good amount of shade for the dogs next to sunshine for me. And the tables are spaced nicely to cater for all customers. The pub snacks are reasonably priced, and it's nice to see condiments out on a table, so people can grab a few more if needed. I tried the burger off the budget lunch menu a few weeks ago, it was flame filled to perfection. Who needs fast food? Take your time with a few drinks and some leisure time.”

“Appalling rude staff on entering I said hello to the member of staff behind the bar. I repeated myself four times. She did not raise her head once from the piece of paper she was studying before walking away. Drinks were served in dirty glasses which to give the pub their due, they replaced. Overall a horrible experience.”

“Unsure about food or atmosphere but I've just been working outside this place in 30⁰ heat 🥵 tarmacking a job and the owner just bought out a pitcher of oasis for us. So give this place a go the owner is a true gentleman. Thank you”

“I booked to take a friend for her birthday. The staff couldn't have been more helpful including bringing a card over for her. The food was fine, although my pasta was overcooked. Desserts were good.”
