  “Went here to meet with family, whilst at first we weren't impressed as they put us on a much smaller table than expected, even though we had pre booked, it actually worked out ok and the food definitely made up for this too, we had all chosen a variety of dishes that came out hot and fresh. Some of us decided to have a dessert, I have allergies and they were so great in finding out the ingredients for me as I liked the sound of the apricot cheesecake but unfortunately I could not have the apricot topping but they were able to just just the cheesecake alone, I joked and said if you pass some chocolate on your way just stick it in and as you can see from the picture they went above and beyond and it really was delicious!”

  “Very friendly place. We visited as a group and all the staff worked together and got us served in a couple of minutes. It's beautifully furnished and spotless. I'll be going back soon for food - I'm sure it will be amazing.”

  “Nice atmosphere, clean and tidy. Great place for the sun especially if you have kids, there are 2 parks - one on the other side of the car park. The garden overlooks the canal. Small outside bar/shed which sells ice cream (for dogs too). The staff are friendly and service is fast. Quality of the food matches the price. Car park is a little tight at the back but I’ve never struggled to find a space. Will 100% recommended.”

  “I visited here with my little boy and husband who's is celiac, the gluten free menu looked amazing! Upon arrival we requested a high chair for our little boy. Was told by a gentlemen I'll bring it over... we waited and waited but nothing. I went to order drinks and asked if I could have the highchair was told they are down the corridor... go grab one. I have no issues getting my own but we weren't told that at the start... I then went to order our food the gentlemen that took our order was great. I order off the gluten free menu to start where I attempted to order the gluten free chilli loaded fries. He couldn't find them on the computer so when to get a manager... who came and look and couldn't find them... where he turned around a just when we don't do gluten free loaded fries I replied they are on the gluten free menu... he said well we haven't got the stuff... so order gluten free gammon and chips... since coming home my husband has had symptoms of eating gluten.”

  “The service let the whole thing down to be honest, we waited 25 minutes to get a drink. Our starters actually came before we had our first drink and then we had to go and remind them we were still waiting for them. Had to ask for a second drink eventually as well. The food was amazing but the service really killed the whole thing. It was my nieces birthday and they didn't even say happy birthday to her. If they had experienced, chatty waiters the place could be brilliant.”

  “We had a large table for a family get together - we all had Sunday lunch, which was superb, and kids had various options from their own menu. Desserts were delicious, and we were able to sit outside by canal, and watch kids in play area.”

  “Called in just over a week ago for Sunday lunch. The trio of roast was very good and very good service. Good cask beers on, great place to stop on our way back to ABC King's Orchard marina on the Coventry canal.”

  “Lovely Full English Breakfast and included a cuppa in the price which a lot of places don't do now so that was a plus! Two slices of bacon, 2 sausages, black pudding, hash brown, plum tomatoes, beans, mushrooms, fried egg and a slice of toast for £11.50. Enjoyed it and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Staff were polite, helpful and had a smile 😃 for everyone. Not too busy which was nice but we visited on a weekday so not sure what weekends would be like. Breakfast is served weekdays 10am - 12pm. (It's 9am - 12am Fri- Sun). It is also situated canal side so on a nice day would be a great stop for a drink and lunch on the outside benches. Would be more than happy to eat here again and would recommend.”

  “Beautiful pub, we have been here before whilst cruising along the canal. Food was yummy and lots of it! Had a cocktail and that was yummy too. Lovely place to come for a drink or food. Has a big beer garden with things to keep the kids entertained ❤️”
