About The Whittington Arms
On Tamworth Rd in Lichfield, The Whittington Arms is a gastropub open daily for food and drinks. The chef sends out a birthday cake for celebrations, which gives a family or friend occasion a dessert on the house. Steak and salmon appear among the mains, and tiramisu is one of the desserts. The pub hosts group events, including a registry lunch for 30 guests, and a table can be prepared in advance when requested at the point of booking. Dogs are welcome, so regulars with a four-legged companion can bring them along.

“Stunning location, great steak, cooked to perfection and salmon was mouthwatering. The two people were absolutely lovely, Surprised there was only two on but you would have thought there was more, as we were treated lovely and the service was brilliant. Charlie the manager was such a lovely happy person who made us feel so welcome and Dan behind the bar made Drinks quickly and delivered them with a jolly Scottish humour. First time visiting and this will now become one of my favourites.”

“Very good, relaxed atmosphere as we arrived and throughout our meal despite it being busier by the time we left. The service for our food was good, our food was excellent and Carly and Leah even sorted our dessert out with whipped cream instead of custard. The only down side that meant us giving 4 stars not 5, was the rather long wait we had before paying. Not wanting to be rude but once you're finished and ready to leave, you want to leave so waiting 10, 15 minutes to pay can be frustrating. We have been many times over the years and will continue to do so.”

“We had an amazing dining experience from start to finish! Chef Gabi prepared an absolutely outstanding meal, beautifully presented, and packed with incredible flavor. A special thank you to our waitress, Mia, who made the evening even more enjoyable. She was warm, friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. Her excellent service and welcoming personality really stood out. Fantastic food, exceptional service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable meal!”
