About Harrington Arms Sawley
Harrington Arms Sawley is a waterside pub in Nottingham, found at 392 Tamworth Rd. The kitchen works from a chargrilled menu, with a beef burger built on prime rib and pulled pork alongside other burgers. A gourmet ribeye and a steak sandwich also feature, so the food covers both lighter lunches and fuller dinners. The pub also hosts a Reggae Fest event, which gives regulars and visitors a reason to come for more than a meal. Dogs are welcome, so owners can bring them along when they stop in for lunch, dinner or drinks.

Customer Review Summary
The signature burger leads the praise, described by one diner as prime rib and pulled pork and by another as the signature beef burger, with one partner leaving a single bite. Close behind are the steak and ale pie, ribs that surprised a family with their size, a ranch halloumi flatbread, and a macaroni cheese one diner ranked among the best they have had. Reviewers repeatedly call the food delicious and good value, and one with a rare allergy says it was catered for without fuss. Staff are described as friendly, polite and helpful, with food and drinks arriving promptly. The atmosphere is called relaxed and homely, with a large outdoor area, garden seating and a welcome for dogs. The one caution is crowding. A reviewer found a weekend evening packed and advises booking for Friday to Sunday dinners, and Reggae Fest weekend was incredibly busy and hot, yet the team still greeted people with warm smiles and kept the queue moving.

“Nice friendly pub with a homely atmosphere. Exceptional friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food and beers. Four family members from Long Eaton and two from Australia had a wonderful night. Our waitress, Tegan, along with the other staff working there were prompt in delivering drinks and food. One family member ordered the ribs and we were surprised by the size of them. I am happily recommending this pub to anyone who wants a good family pub with lovely atmosphere inside AND a huge outdoor area. Fabulous food and drink. If I was a local I would be here every week.”
