Quick info
About The Sun Inn
The Sun Inn is an adults-only pub at 210 Guide Ln in Manchester, set up around games and sport. A pool table and darts give customers something to play, and plenty of TVs and screens show the sports. Smokers get covered decking outside, so they can step out and still be under cover. The bar stocks a range of gins for anyone who wants something other than the usual pint. The pub does not serve food, so the focus stays on drinks, games and the screens. Customers span a mix of ages, and children are not admitted.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the atmosphere and the bar staff, describing friendly, lovely staff and a lively, feel-good vibe, including one night when a DJ played 90s music. Drinks are repeatedly called well priced, with praise for the beer and the range of gins. Sports come up often, with plenty of screens, a pool table and darts, and covered outside decking for smokers. A few mention a cracking fire and a mix of ages among customers. Criticism is thinner but specific. One reviewer found the bar understaffed during their visit, another called the landlady a bit bitter, and one says the pub is rude to younger adults. One was refused service for half a pint of coke. Reviewers disagree on food: one calls it really good and fairly priced, while another says the pub doesn't do food. Several note it is busy, and one says a fence was recently put around the outdoor area.

“I had an amazing time at the Sun Inn in Manchester! The atmosphere was fantastic, thanks to the incredible DJ who played a perfect selection of 90s music. The nostalgic beats kept the energy high and created a lively, feel-good vibe that made the night even more enjoyable. Combined with the outstanding service from the two friendly and hardworking female attendants, as well as the respectful and welcoming doormen, the experience was truly top-notch. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to visit again.”
