  “Good buzz in this place an big decent area for kids. Only quib would be the queue for the bar tends to start at the till nearest the door and there is no space to walk past it to go to another bar area meaning a large queue forms quickly. Nice building though.”

  “Visited here last Saturday afternoon. A lot of tables were reserved, but they did accommodate walk ins. It is also dog friendly so we brought the nugget along. There was a good choice of drinks, and the food came out swiftly from ordering. All of us enjoyed the food. And they accommodated the fuss pots. The first place in a long time where we’ve all cleared our plates and not had one thing to grumble about. We will be returning soon.”

  “What a wonderful evening we are having in the Fairfield Arms, Audenshaw for Jan & Julia's retirement. Jack the chef has served us the most delicious food. Would highly reccomend.”

  “Lovely restaurant. Was served by seth and he was very nice and welcoming. Didn't get any food but we did get a drink and was very happy with our service. Seth made my 1 year anniversary a special one. Thankyou very much.”

  “We sat here for a while after long walk on the canel. It was one afternoon. I noticed the seats at windows(inside) were not enpty so we brought our drinks to outdoor-front. Just got some refreshness before return home.”

  “enjoyed a meal here last night for an impromptu dinner date and was happily surprised to have enjoyed such lovely food (starters, main, desserts and drinks) without breaking the bank! food was delicious, great portion sizes and served quickly. we were taken care of by the lovely Jordan and Sam M who made it a wonderful experience and am already looking forward to our next visit.”

  “Massive shout out to Alex in the kitchen. Ordered 2 mixed grills this evening and they were absolutely spot on. Steak cooked exactly how we wanted, chicken nice and juicy, and everything else as you’d expect. We’ve had worse steaks from actual steakhouses! Food was out fairly quickly however standard was not compromised in the slightest”

  “As I am regular ‘Ember Inns’ visitor I popped into ‘The Fairfield Arms’ recently for breakfast. I was greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome, throughout my visit I received great service. The food was freshly prepared and tasted great 🍳 It’s definitely one to visit if your in the local area 😁”

  “We enjoyed a Sunday roast here yesterday. The three meats meal was delicious, and flavoursome and delivered by the friendly staff. We also appreciated the children’s meal being brought out before ours so we could feed baby first. Always a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.”

  “We’re absolutely appalled by the experience we had today for what was meant to be a special, pre-booked birthday meal for my husband and our 19th wedding anniversary,Despite booking in advance, (2 weeks)the service and food were completely unacceptable. There were no burger buns, so we were given muffins instead — which is ridiculous and inexcusable for any restaurant. The steak was served practically raw, and to top it off, the pie that was specifically requested wasn’t even available. This ruined what should have been an enjoyable celebration. The lack of preparation and basic standards is shocking. We won’t be returning, and I’ll be making others aware of how poor this experience was.”
