About Fletchers Arms
Fletchers Arms is a pub on Stockport Rd in Denton, Manchester, run by the Almond family for 20 years. The Sunday carvery serves a selection of meats and vegetables with Yorkshire puddings alongside. The main menu runs next to the carvery and includes a Sri Lankan chicken curry. Staff serve at the table, and when the pub is busy a holding table takes drinks while guests wait for a place to eat. Bookings are taken for family events and birthday meals, which suits groups marking an occasion. A quiz night is held on site, and the doors are open daily.

Customer Review Summary
The Sunday carvery is what reviewers raise most, praising the hot, fresh meat and vegetables, the plenty of choice, and the huge Yorkshire puddings. Close behind is the main menu, where diners single out the Sri Lankan chicken curry as tasty and filling, and one describes a Chicken and Chorizo pie from British Pie week with creamy mash and carvery vegetables that was spot on. Staff come up again and again as friendly, welcoming and attentive, with one reviewer noting how a server handled a busy night by seating them at a holding table, taking drinks, and finding a dining table within minutes. Several celebrated milestone birthdays and a family event, and describe the arrangements as simple, with changing numbers handled without fuss. A parent of a daughter with celiac disease says the kitchen cooks her food separately. Reviewers also mention a hidden beer garden, a lively quiz night, and a cosy, homely atmosphere. No complaints appear in the reviews, and the closing detail diners return to is the staff making a fuss of a regular's dog.

“Amazing friendly place to have something to eat. With my daughter having celiac disease. We only have limited places to eat out at. The Fletchers go above and beyond making sure her food is cooked separately. Would highly recommend.”

“We booked for a family event and everything was simple to organise and implemented fluently. Numbers changed, but everyone was adaptable. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was really good. We were looked after.”

“My family and I love this pub, with its very cute hidden beer garden to the rear. The staff are always pleasant, polite and hugely accommodating. The food is also second to none. The prices are reasonable and competitive, and the place has a warm, homely atmosphere. We’ll continue to visit as often as we can, as we love it and rate it very highly. Thank you Fletchers Arms team, keep doing what you do x”

“The Fletchers is our local pub and we regularly visit either for drinks or to have a meal as a couple. We visited last week and we're greeted by Amy on arrival, she was very welcoming this is the second time in recent weeks she has looked after us. On both occasions she has been fantastic, the first visit it was clearly very busy however Amy advised there would be a little wait for a table so sat us at a 'holding' table took our drinks order and said she'd let us know when a table to dine at came free. I don't think 10 minutes had passed before she was beckoning us to a table and taking our food order, this was the first positive dining experience we had as it was clearly busy but Amy was fab. Onto our second visit last week and it was British Pie week so I sampled the Chicken and Chorizo pie with the Creamy mash and vegetables from the carvery. Amy straight away said it was a good choice and went through the options of what I could have with the pie and suggested the carvery veg which was a great recommendation from her. Have to say the food was just spot on again. Have to say a thank you to Dan as well who cleared our plates / glasses from the table. He's always very pleasant when we've been in or if I've stopped by for a drink after I've been for a walk with my Jack Russell Terrier 'Manx', Dan always makes a fuss of the dog. Thanks for another lovely experience no doubt we'll be back soon. Mel & Steve 😉❤️”

“The Fletchers has been a staple for as long as anyone can remember. Since the Almond family took over the pub 20 years ago it has been a landmark for excellent food, a well pulled pint and friendly service in Denton”
