About Noodle Nova
Noodle Nova is a Chinese restaurant at 229 Strand in London, centred on Lanzhou beef noodles under the Chinese name 青花钰兰州牛肉面. The concept draws on the Silk Road and on blue-and-white porcelain, tying the food to the trade route and to the porcelain that travelled from China to Britain. Stews sit alongside the noodles, and the dishes follow a home-style approach. The restaurant also trades under the name Nova Noodles.

“The service is really slow. It takes almost an hour for the noodle dish to arrive. Someone else who arrived later than me had his noodle earlier which is not acceptable. And they come to make you pay while you are having the food. The food itself is not tasty either. It is only spicy and oily nothing else. Wouldn’t recommend and would’t come back again. with this bad service, they still charge you service charge. Heheh”

“I’d recommend this place to friends for a meal! The waiting staff will suggest some great dishes, and everything on the menu is delicious. It never disappoints.”

“I had pre-theatre dinner with friends at Noodle Niva on a Thursday night. I made a reservation via WhatsApp, and I’d highly recommend you do that. The actual menu is bigger than what appears on the website. The menu is easy to understand and most dishes are customisable, which is great as I’m sure people have different preferences when it comes to noodles width and spice level. The presentation was lovely. The food tasted great. The service was attentive and prompt. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing. I’ll be going back and happy to recommend this place.”

“There were quite a few customers in the restaurant, but it wasn’t noisy; every dish was absolutely delicious, and I was very pleased with the dining experience.”

Highlights
“Nova Noodles | 青花钰兰州牛肉面 The Silk Road was once a place where people shared food and warmth. Simple dishes—noodles, stews, homely flavours—comforted travellers far from home. Blue-and-white porcelain later journeyed from China to Britain, illustrating how culture can travel great distances and still retain its familiarity. At Qinghua Jade, we carry that spirit through every dish. Warm flavours of the Silk Road, brought gently to your table.”
