Quick info
About Noodle Inn Covent Garden
Noodle Inn Covent Garden is a Chinese restaurant on Maiden Lane in London, cooking Xi'an-style noodles in a fully halal kitchen. Hand-pulled Biang Biang noodles anchor the menu, and the Oil Spill Biang Biang comes topped with braised beef rib. Beef and chicken noodle dishes are both on offer, and the kitchen also makes handmade dumplings and noodle soups. Starters include prawn toast, while a cucumber salad gives the table a cold side to pair with the hot noodles. Chilli oil is served on the side, so diners can add more spice to their bowls as they like. The menu works for sharing several dishes across a table. The restaurant has a blue exterior.

Customer Review Summary
Biang biang noodles with braised beef rib draw the most praise, with reviewers describing the beef as tender and falling right off the bone and the thick noodles as excellent. Portions are repeatedly called huge, and a couple of diners say they shared several dishes. Both the beef and chicken noodles are described as properly flavoured and well cooked, and the spice is called just right, with chilli oil on the side for those who want more. Close behind are the fried shrimp with a mayo and mustard sauce one reviewer found surprising, the okra salad, cucumber salad, prawn toast, and chicken and sweetcorn spicy dumplings in soup. One reviewer also singles out the matcha, and another notes the fully halal menu. The one lukewarm account comes from a diner who found the spicy stir fried chicken only ok and overthought, though the thick noodles and beef looked good to them. Reviewers repeatedly describe friendly staff who helped them choose what to order from a long menu.

“Really good find in Covent Garden. The portions here are massive, easily enough to fill you up and then some. We tried both the beef and the chicken noodles and both were excellent, properly flavoured and well cooked. Great to see a fully halal option in this part of London too. Service was quick even though the place was busy. Will definitely be back.”
