  “£15.95 for a mezze that cost £5 or less! Basically 1 pitta bread, 1 slice of hallumi, small portion of humous, and another one of sour sauce and chives, 1 olive, 1 small kofta made of cabbage. And hold on, it says generous portion on the menu! And £8 tip automatically added for our bill. The place is nice but not happy about this time, I was hungry afterwards”

  “The food is expensive and not great quality. Staff are very busy and our waiter was very forgetful. The mezze starter is one calamari ring, one slice of halloumi 3 meat balls a small pot of taziki and humous with 4 small bits of pitta. Priced at £16:50 it was a very small starter for 2 people.The Thai style chicken thighs were just smothered in sweet chilli sauce and the chicken souvlaki were chicken skewers. Overall we were very disappointed.”

  “Had a lovely lunch here today. It was my first time visiting and everything was perfect. The food was very tasty and I was pleased with the portion sizes. It was a very hot day so I was worried about how comfortable it would be, but I needn't of worried as it was lovely and cool inside with the air conditioning. We were served promptly.”

  “my friend booked a table and was told you can only book a table inside and if there is availability outside we would be able to go outside, however, on arrival the guy who greeted us not sure of hes name just that he was greek was so rude to all of us that everyone wanted to go elsewhere but as we were all in different cars and hadnt booked anywhere else we decided to stay for convenience. We all ordered roast dinners from the waiter which i might add was extremely nice and helpful. The food was served within 15 minutes of our ordering i had the roast lamb which was just like a lump of fat on the plate but didnt feel i could complain as i could not deal with the greek guys attitude. My friend had been before and enjoyed it but none of us would ever go back and certainly not recomend. The price was expensive which we expected and wouldnt of minded if the food was good.”

  “Lovely place in the grounds of Epsom Racecourse. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day. Sun umberellas at all tables. Plenty of space between tables. Friendly staff. Great food! 2 people for lunch 2 wines, (1 alchohol free!) 1 steak, 1 moussaka, 2 lemon tartes, 2 coffees. c£87 included service charge. A great choice of venue for our meet up, by my lovely cousin. X”

  “A group of us ate here recently whilst staying nearby, the food was great - a varied menu so there's something for everyone. There's a huge beer garden and somewhere to walk nearby. The lady that served us was great fun 😊”

  “We had a great Sunday meal here. There were three of us and I was able to easily make a reservation and we were given a window table as requested. We were greeted in a warm friendly manner and the service was very quick and efficient. The meal was delicious and well portioned and nothing was too much. Our friend easily found parking and registered at the bar with no issues. Overall a great experience and a the whole added to our chilled Sunday afternoon.”

  “Visited here midweek in February. It was my second visit and I had exactly the same as the first time since I’d enjoyed it so much. I had the fried halloumi and a regular sized portion of the Fillets of Sea Bass. The food is good here and the service excellent. There was no atmosphere on the night we visited but I put that down to it being midweek. I’m sure on a race day it would be pretty lively! It’s a great setting on the edge of the racecourse and only a very short walk from the nearby Epsom Downs Holiday Inn Express which has a VERY limited food menu so I’d highly recommend a walk out to the Rubbing House. Relatively well priced considering the location and setting although it was quite a large bill for a weekday night work meal … maybe the bottle of wine didn’t help. I did have a fly in my first drink but it was swiftly replaced and the staff were very attentive. I’ll certainly be back again soon.”
