“We decided to have lunch here on a whim as we had both booked half days at work and we were not disappointed! First time eating here for myself and Son, we ordered the kids pizza, salt & pepper squid for a starter, x2 cheese and bacon burgers and a brownie & sticky toffee pudding for afters. Everything was great and we have no complaints! The only slight negative was the wait staff kept polishing the cutlery right next to our table and it was very loud, maybe this should be done in the kitchen next time? Other than that, food was great, service was friendly and the Manager even gave my Son an extra pack of toys which was very lovely of her! We will be back!”

“We booked at short notice for 18 people to celebrate my sons wedding today. We supplied a pre order for food to make things easier for the restaurant and staff. We arrived much earlier than planned and were seated straight away. All our food orders were en point and beautifully cooked and presented the staff were attentive and professional and everything was perfect . Settling the bill is never easy with a big group but even that went smoothly . All I can say is that the star was a perfect venue for us and the staff did us proud wouldn't hesitate to recommend .”

“A few weeks ago I came in. My wonderful waiter Magnus was amazing! I am partly deaf and I took my sister there for a late birthday meal, which she loved. Would highly recommend!!!”

“Friendly, efficient, speedy service. Visited here when staying at the Chessington Premier inn but their pub closed at 9pm which led to me ending up here at 9:30 with minutes before the kitchen closed. Absolutely fantastic fish and chips, great value, highly reccomended.”
