  “We ordered a takeaway for delivery, it arrived in good time, we order a set meal for 2 which was £24, when the food arrive they had added on an extra £4.50 delivery charge, we don't even live a mile away, he was really rude, took my money and said "right" then he walked off and just left the garden gate wide open. He was so rude we won't be ordering from here again... it was as though he was doing us a favour!!!!”

  “We ordered steak for 2 from here and very disappointed with it. One was all fat and other alot of fat, gravy was to rich and chips tasted burnt I think they had been re heated few times. Did enjoy any of it.”

  “Best Chinese food I've had since Singapore! Pure vegetarian, no onions, no garlic, no meat, no fish, no eggs, no shellfish - no bother for these guys! Ordered the food on the way to China Inn and was told it would be ready at eight, and it was spot on! The price was just right for the great sized portion I got. The chef-lady had a smile on her face as she handed over the food and I even got a complimentary wooden fork so that I could eat in the park nearby. And the food was so tasty, you just wouldn't believe! Highly recommended. Will definitely go there again. There are other Chinese Takeaways nearby but this one is the best.”

  “I'm not from York, but st home an order of fish chips and curry sauce would be well over 12 quid, here cod is £3.50, haddock £4.50 and chips £2 odd, so if you lot think the prices are too much your mistaken, not only was it cheap, it was beautiful, 7 of us fed for just under £40, the portions of fish and chips also were big enough to give the lads that had ne money a little bit fish an a handful of chips, don't really write reviews but wow that was an awesome experience, the curry seems a mix of traditional chip shop curry and Chinese curry and it was fantastic. Thankyou, highly recommended”

  “Have ordered from here twice for Chinese. Really reasonable, big portions and the taste is as I expect. Meat is tender too! Only complaint is a bit too salty. Will come again.”

  “We order from here regularly and it never fails. Delivery orders always arrive when they say they will, the portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. We won’t go anywhere else for Chinese. The Po Po chicken and Crispy Duck can’t be matched anywhere else.”

  “Really like this take out, mostly because their fish and chips are amazing..and you get loads. For me..the best chippy in my area. Their native/traditional dishes are nice and you get enough. They do smaller portions for the kids and lunch time deals. Staff are always friendly and the prices are okay. We always get take out but they do delivery. They always get the order right.”

  “I only go to China Inn for their chips which are superb. Unbeatable value for probably the best chips I have ever tasted. The photo is the chips topped off with ketchup, mayo and fried onions.”
