About The Two Greens
The Two Greens is a pub on Old Hill in Wolverhampton, set on a hill at the back of Tettenhall with views over the town. The building has been refurbished with a modern interior and was formerly The Rock and Wacky Warehouse. It now has a bar area and a separate restaurant dining area. At the rear, the beer garden is laid out as a three-tiered decking area that takes in those views. The menu covers pub classics alongside some lighter options, including salmon with crushed baked potatoes, fried chicken and a chicken salad, and a lunch deal is part of the offer. The bar serves cask ales, wines and soft drinks. Dogs are welcome inside. The car park has plenty of space, and entering your car registration at the restaurant covers four hours of parking.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the pub's lunch and dinner food, with the salmon on crushed baked potatoes singled out as tasty and the lunch deal praised for portion size. Fried chicken is called good if a little greasy, and a steak is described as lacking BBQ sauce. Close behind is friendly, attentive service, with several describing a warm welcome at the door and a relaxed catch-up with friends. The terrace and its view over Wolverhampton are also mentioned repeatedly, along with plenty of free parking. The main complaint is slow service on busy days. One reviewer who booked watched walk-ins get food first, and another saw a couple leave after a long wait with a single person serving at the bar. Dry chicken recurs, including a chicken salad sent back and replaced with a better one by an apologetic waitress. A few call the prices high, and one notes a draughty back seating area. One reviewer suggests booking for a crowd at lunch.

“Food was really nice but quite expensive. Long queue at the bar to order as there was only one member of staff serving.”

“Had a great experience at The Two Greens. Came in for some drinks with some friends and there was a great atmosphere and really friendly staff. I was served by Andrew and Lauren and they were very polite and welcoming. Would recommend for anyone who wants to have a catch up with friends and have some food and drinks”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The Two Greens is the kind of place that reminds you what great hospitality is supposed to feel like. From the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic, the atmosphere, the food, the service and, most importantly, the people. A special mention has to go to Andrew and Lauren, who were absolutely brilliant. They were warm, attentive and genuinely made us feel so welcome. The food was excellent, the setting is beautiful and the atmosphere has exactly the right balance of relaxed and special. Hospitality like that is what makes people want to come back, and we absolutely will. Couldn’t recommend The Two Greens highly enough. 10/10. We’ll definitely be back. 💚”

“The location is semi remote at the back of Tettenhall plenty of free carparking. Entering is a pleasant experience it smells of wood and leather, we visited during the week days and it was busy at lunchtime but otherwise fairly quiet with plenty of good quality seating indoors.Outside there is a three teired decking area with good tidy seating some undercover from rain, sunshade are plenty. The partial view is towards Wolverhampton and you cam see the taller building including the stadium. The toilets are non smelly! Good start, clean tidy and hand lotion and soap provided with instant on hot water. Overall the toilets are of a good standard. An enjoyable visit, food was good well presented after a short wait, suggest booking if going in a crowd at lunch. Nice cold drinks as you would hope for with the very comfortable furniture it makes for a pleasant stay. Prices are a 2-4£'s more but worth it. Pleasant helpful staff . No smoking or vaping make for a great environment. Highly Recommended . Downside- they allowed 5 workmen in for drinks at lunch in their dirty work clothes and boots making the seating dirty. Who the all began talking loudly on their mobile and did that annoying shouting and wandering aimlessly and then sat at my table to continue shouting and fidgeting with drinking glass. I moved to a quieter spot outside, but their behaviour was simply just allowed, I suppose that's why they call it a pub?”

“We had to wait to long for the food when it came. My chicken salad was terrible chicken was so dry couldn't chew it. Sent it back 2nd one was much better. The waitress was very attentive and apologetic. They need more kithe staff on their busy days. We booked a table but walk-ins who can well after we did. were getting their food well before us. A couple next to us walked out after 40 minutes. They need more staff on there busy days.”
