“I really enjoy going to the Bird in Hand, always a good atmosphere and the food is consistently good. Really good selection of beer including Shere Drop which is a very good beer from a local brewery (sited on Denbies wine estate). Burgers are great and full of flavour, and there’s plenty of options to choose from on the menu. Inside there’s the bar section and the restaurant section both with plenty tables. The outside seating is good and a nice sun trap and they sometimes have live music on Saturdays outside. Dogs only allowed in the bar or garden, not the restaurant.”

“Food was delicious and arrived promptly. One of the best cooking I’ve ever had!! The restaurant itself has a lovely cosy atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. The staff were polite and friendly, although at times they seemed a little shy. Overall though, it was a pleasant experience and I’d happily return for the food and ambience.”

“Found this pub on google maps lived the place atomphere was really nice,the staff where great,the food even though we just had nibbles were fantastic,i had chipolates with honey,which were just so nice flavour was fantastic,the wife had c garlic & herb baked cibatta with aioli & rocket which the flavour was fantastic to,we love pubs were you really find fantastic chef's & at a resonable price.”

“Bird In Hand is a perfect pub experience whether you want a drink in the bar or dining in the restaurant. It’s a very pretty pub. You can tell the people there really take care to provide a great experience and have worked really hard to reach the level they are at. We had Sunday lunch today.. everything perfectly cooked and proper British Pub fair. Great service and bustling atmosphere.”
