The Racehorse is a gastropub in Warwick at 34 Stratford Rd, open daily with food served throughout opening times. The rib eye steak arrives on a stone, and burgers include the Dirty burger with pulled beef. A carvery and Sunday lunch are also on offer, and a meat platter is there for sharing. Customer Review Summary
Burgers draw the most praise, especially the Dirty burger topped with pulled beef, chicken and melted-cheese nachos. Close behind are generous portions across the menu: a carvery with plenty of meat, lamb with four chops, a meat platter shared between two, crispy pork belly, berry crumbles and a rib eye served on a stone. A gluten free menu with more than two dishes pleased one diner, and several describe friendly, welcoming staff and a good atmosphere, including outside seating in the sunshine. One reviewer says the interior doesn't look quite like a pub. Service is the recurring complaint. A large party waited a long time for meals, nobody checked on them, and one of the group carried empty plates and glasses to the bar. Another diner was served after a later-arriving table and had to chase both the bill and its processing, so no tip was left. One reviewer found a pint a bit steep, though the food was well priced. Several return visitors still came back for the carvery and Sunday lunch.

“I came here with my family to get a nice carvery and I was really impressed. The staff were more than helpful and friendly. The food size was enormous considering the prices the chef gave me plenty of meat on my carvery Which I was so grateful for. Overall staff were amazing and the food was phenomenal.”

“Wonderful music and atmosphere! We came to have lunch and the service was delightful. Our server, Gina, went above and beyond to accommodate us and the food was just as amazing! I ordered the meat platter to share with another and it was the perfect size for two; both of us loved the meal. Everyone and everything at The Racehorse made us feel welcome and appreciated!”

“The Dirty burger was without a doubt the best burger I've ever had. Chicken pulled beef and nachos with melted cheese. A pint was a bit steep but the food was very well priced for what you get. I'd thoroughly recommend”
