Customer Review Summary

Diners consistently single out the paella and Greek sharing platter as standouts, praising their generous portions and rich flavours, with several also highlighting the seafood paella and mixed souvlaki platter. The garlic mushroom starter and King of the Jungle cocktail earn repeated mentions for quality and value, especially with the 2 for £12 offer. Service is repeatedly described as excellent, attentive, and friendly, with many noting the cosy, clean atmosphere. A few reviews point to minor drawbacks, including one account of overripe baked Camembert with a strong ammonia taste and another noting dry patches in the lamb. One diner also mentions football noise from the adjacent sports bar detracting from the otherwise pleasant restaurant ambience. Several groups, including those with wheelchair users and young children, report being well accommodated.

We went there for the first time after our friend recommended this place. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't expect to like it so much but the food was very nice and the portions are very generous. Will definitely return again. 😋

Arrived at this place first time ever tonight walked clean friendly atmosphere little play area to keep kids occupied nice place. Great for couples also. Had many drinks great priced drinks think madri was 4.60 a pint superb compared to other pubs charging nearly 6 quid a pint. So ordered food ordered prawn pi pi quality tasting amazing also ordered the backed Camembert this is the only dish we had which was below standards I’m a chef myself and when this cheese tastes like ammonia means that it’s over ripe or not been rested a room Tempreture before it’s been cooked it’s harmless but the taste was really strong not just in the rind but in the cheese it’s self think the chat needs to check this cheese and how long it’s been in storage. My daughter had kids nuggets chips and peas freshly cooked breaded nuggets freshly cooked supper quality rump steak 8oz ribeye steak 8oz superb cooked perfectly very tasty for the prices of the dish to just be served with fries and salad is a bit steep can’t recall the prices but I no both dishes over 20 quid need to have something else on the plate as wasn’t very filling my wife had the seafood paella superb very tasty flavourful. Just the cheese was a letdown a quality chef should of noticed this with the backed cheese this is the reason for 3 stars on food

Visited today for a birthday meal and had a fantastic Sunday afternoon. 9 of us (including a wheelchair user and a lively 19 month old were looked after so well by the attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble, even with the odd …

We stopped here en route home at about 4pm on a Thursday. The service was impeccable - like a gourmet restaurant! - and the food was very well-prepared. Prices were extremely reasonable and we would gladly come again. The atmosphere is lovely; the cosiness of a pub with the finishing touches and service of a fine dining restaurant. Overall a really fantastic experience and we highly recommend!

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
