  “Arrived at this place first time ever tonight walked clean friendly atmosphere little play area to keep kids occupied nice place. Great for couples also. Had many drinks great priced drinks think madri was 4.60 a pint superb compared to other pubs charging nearly 6 quid a pint. So ordered food ordered prawn pi pi quality tasting amazing also ordered the backed Camembert this is the only dish we had which was below standards I’m a chef myself and when this cheese tastes like ammonia means that it’s over ripe or not been rested a room Tempreture before it’s been cooked it’s harmless but the taste was really strong not just in the rind but in the cheese it’s self think the chat needs to check this cheese and how long it’s been in storage. My daughter had kids nuggets chips and peas freshly cooked breaded nuggets freshly cooked supper quality rump steak 8oz ribeye steak 8oz superb cooked perfectly very tasty for the prices of the dish to just be served with fries and salad is a bit steep can’t recall the prices but I no both dishes over 20 quid need to have something else on the plate as wasn’t very filling my wife had the seafood paella superb very tasty flavourful. Just the cheese was a letdown a quality chef should of noticed this with the backed cheese this is the reason for 3 stars on food”

  “We stopped here en route home at about 4pm on a Thursday. The service was impeccable - like a gourmet restaurant! - and the food was very well-prepared. Prices were extremely reasonable and we would gladly come again. The atmosphere is lovely; the cosiness of a pub with the finishing touches and service of a fine dining restaurant. Overall a really fantastic experience and we highly recommend!”

  “15 of us went for a birthday celebration. Place was lovely and bright, well decorated and clean. Food was amazing, all 15 of us said how nice the food was, portions were generous too. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely go again.”

  “The food was absolutely incredible, cannot fault it. We had a garlic mushroom starter to share and then the Greek sharing platter from the appetiser menu as a main…no way that was an appetiser! Filled us up so much, very generous portion. Cocktails were beautiful and very reasonable on a 2 for £12 offer! Recommend the King of the Jungle cocktail. The only thing we would say is that we came on a Saturday evening and even though we were seated in the restaurant part with a lovely ambience, we could hear all the football noise from the sports bar right next door. But honestly it didn’t spoil the meal, just a shame that it feels a bit mixed up being in a really nice restaurant with football ruckus in the background like you’re in a sports bar. Really lovely place and we’re planning to return!”

  “Delicious food and great staff. Can't fault the place. The mixed souvlaki platter was delicious, everything was cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly and talkative. The whole place felt incredibly clean and well put together. Would definitely recommend.”
