About The Registry Walsall
The Registry Walsall is a pub in Walsall at 23 - 29 Leicester St, with a food menu built around small plates for sharing. Loaded nachos with kebab meat sit among those dishes, and burgers and vegan bites are also on the menu. Several large TVs around the pub show football and other sports. On busy nights a DJ plays music and the floor turns to dancing. Booths are available for those who want to sit.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the food, with the burgers and a fish and chip platter of fish, chips, mushy peas, curry sauce and a battered sausage singled out as hot, generous and tasty. Small plates for sharing, vegan bites and a new menu also draw praise, and one reviewer calls the quantity good for the price. Close behind are the staff, described as welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the football on several large TVs, the music and the dancing on a busy night. Beer is called cheaper than at a regular pub and good. The main complaint is a single detailed one about the food: a reviewer found the Hunters Chicken fries covered in ketchup and the loaded nachos with kebab meat questionable, and said drinks ordered on the app took half an hour. Another reviewer found the ultimate sundae out of stock after a long debate over sharing it. Several describe stopping in for a quick pint and staying for a second.

“Do not go here for food! We had a three plate "small dish" order which was atrocious. The "Hunters Chicken" fries was covered in ketchup and had questionable chicken. The loaded nachos with kebab meat had HUGELY questionable meat (even more so than regular doner meat) that looked like cardboard. The rest of the bar seems fine, gave off a boozy, footballing, male dominated vibe and the drinks were reasonably priced, but don't get them on the app because it took half hour for them to come out.”

“I nipped in to this pub yesterday afternoon for a bit to eat at lunch time. I have never been to this pub before as I usually go to Spoons for lunch, but couldn’t get in as the weather was bad and full. So I walked into The Registry. the bar lady was lovely and helpful the pub is very clean and tidy. The food I ordered the burgers came was piping hot lovely and moist by far the best pub burgers in Walsall. Will highly recommend the food here and will go again”

“So it was my First time in Walsall town centre and I was in town to watch the football ⚽️ as my beloved Oldham Athletic were playing Walsall FC at the Bescot Stadium 🏟. Read the great reviews and thought I would head in for a pint of lager and I had a look at the menu and decided to order some food, I opted for the Fish and Chip platter which came with Fish, Chips, Mushy peas, Curry sauce, battered sausage, bread and butter and a side order of onion rings. Food was well presented, generous portion size, food was hot, tasted delicious and definitely hit the spot, I cleaned my plate and enjoyed my pint before enjoying another pint and then headed to the match. Food, service, pint, atmosphere, value were all 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ I post alot of reviews on Google and I always give my honest opinion on everything from food, cleanliness, drink, Service, value for money, setting, ambience etc and I have over 40,000,000+ views on Google alone. I have reviewed everything from Locally to me and my Wife in Manchester to travelling around going for food with my Wife locally and internationally to travelling around the country watching my Beloved Oldham Athletic to day trips and holidays with my Wife etc. I have reviewed everything from Restaurants to bars to beaches to beach clubs to taxis to airports to flights to beauty treatments to Barbers to hotels to Churches to Basilica to shooting ranges to hair dressers to Football stadiums etc. From Manchester to Split(Croatia), Hvar(Croatia), Supetar(Brac, Croatia),Rome(Italy), Vatican(Italy), Bezier Cap d'Agde(South of France), Montpellier(South of France), Podgorica(Montenegro), Budva(Montenegro), Tirana(Albania), Sarande(Albania), Ksamil(Albania), Krakow(Poland), Zakopane(Poland) and Santa Maria, Sal(Cape Verde).”

“I always stop in Here for a "quick pint" and always enjoy the atmosphere. The new menu is really good. There's a good selection to choose from. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The food is always cooked to perfection. I always have a chuckle with Remy, jord and Matt. I would recommend this place to anyone”

“Perfect for Euros and more. Food great. Staff including Harry, Jordan, Dan and Carl amazing. Always feel welcome anytime. Service brilliant and informed staff and staff not afraid to check with managers/shift leaders if unsure (rare to see staff confident in the support of management. Brilliant). Clean. Well maintained. Euro logo on facebook fantastic. Social media good. Sound and lights good. DJ Daimo fun and approachable. Going to be here more. Thank you all for being amazing. A credit to the industry.”
