About The Red Lion
The Red Lion is a pub at 69 Park St in Walsall town centre, housed in an original building that keeps its wooden panelling and other original features. The kitchen cooks home-cooked meals, including Cajun chicken with a jacket potato and lamb chops with mash and gravy, and the Sunday lunches include a roast pork dinner. Coffee and hot chocolate are served alongside the wider drinks selection. Karaoke and a DJ run in the bar area with music playing, and cabaret is part of the entertainment too. The train and bus stations are within walking distance.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the Christmas decorations, calling the window display and the displays inside some of the best in Walsall town centre, in one of its few original-looking buildings. Food comes close behind. Diners name the Cajun chicken with jacket potato, a double cheese burger with chunky chips, lamb chops with mash and gravy, and a roast pork Sunday dinner, and several praise the portions and the value of the two-meal deal. Friendly staff come up repeatedly, along with warm radiators and wooden panelling. Weekend entertainment earns praise too, with one visitor describing a great DJ, good sound and a few karaoke numbers sung. Complaints are minor. One reviewer found the music slightly loud beside the speaker, and the upstairs seating, reached by a spiral staircase, was closed off on one visit. Another reviewer asks for a single TV showing football and horse racing.
