  “Adele, Beth and Miah at Hungry Horse in Walsall are honestly some of the nicest girls and hardest-working workers I’ve ever met. The whole team there from the rest of the staff down to the mangers are incredibly helpful. We bring our service users on a Friday for a meal out and the staff always go above and beyond to ensure they’re well looked after. Even though we sometimes stress them out they always remain professional, patient and kind especially when looking after people with a learning disability. Thank you again to the team at the Walsall waterfront.”

  “Went on a Monday afternoon, barely anyone there and had to wait 20 minutes for food which resulted in me getting half way through my meal and having to wait a further 20 minutes to ask for a to go box. There was one doing drinks and another taking an order as well as answering the phone. Considering there was a queue forming the common sense would have been to quickly get the queue down and then do the drinks. Service was very slow. Food was good from what I ate of it.”

  “This is one of the nicer Hungry Horse pubs in the area. The decor and furniture look updated and the views of the canal are nice. We did notice that the seating may take long so, we went and sat ourselves. The staff were nice and happy to let us sit anywhere we wanted. The waitresses were polite and seemed to try their best to serve and help everyone. The food was mostly good, pub food. Halloumi fries were too crispy and the cheese stuck to the breading, probably cooked from frozen. However, the rest of the meal was good. The nacho sharer had plenty of toppings and the steaks were cooked to our liking. The Philly steak sub was tasty and with a generous portion of steak. They also seem to have good deals during the week and other special promotions. Overall, good value for money.”
