  “I don’t normally complain about a service , but when I visited yesterday, I received my order and made a comment to my daughter about the garlic bread and food being over cooked , a staff member , who I’m assuming was shift lead as she wasn’t in a uniform, interrupted and commented “that’s the portion size of the garlic bread” in a rude tone , she didn’t ask me what the issue was , or mention the fact I commented about the lasagna being over cooked , just made that comment and walked off . Atmosphere was hostile. Not what I would expect from front line staff of a business of any kind!”

  “Brilliant place was a little quiet when we came but it was a nice, relaxing atmosphere the food was amazing and we sat by the water inside too. I would definitely come here again 🥰 as service was quickly and the customer service was amazing too.”

  “Hi myself and my husband went there on the 11/07/2026 the place was nearly empty I ordered the jalfrezi curry they said I couldn’t have one because it’s only sold on Wednesday so I ordered the chicken tikka masala, when it came the onion bhaji was burnt black and the samosa was disgusting, there was no staff around to complain to there was one man behind the bar, it was the worst meal I’ve ever had no wonder the place was empty”

  “Amazing food here!! Luke the chef is amazing, everything so hot and fresh. For a chain pub this is amazing, you won’t be disappointed. We live by the Keymaster in Willenhall but this is 10x better and such friendly service”

  “Adele, Beth and Miah at Hungry Horse in Walsall are honestly some of the nicest girls and hardest-working workers I’ve ever met. The whole team there from the rest of the staff down to the mangers are incredibly helpful. We bring our service users on a Friday for a meal out and the staff always go above and beyond to ensure they’re well looked after. Even though we sometimes stress them out they always remain professional, patient and kind especially when looking after people with a learning disability. Thank you again to the team at the Walsall waterfront.”

  “Had food today (3/6/26) food was classic pub food, the pub wasn’t mega busy but there was a little bit of atmosphere and we were served by Adelae, she was fantastic, polite and helped us with menu questions! Will go back again soon! Matt”
