Customer Review Summary
Karaoke is the main draw, with reviewers describing a packed session starting at 2 pm, sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and a team cup won for best singing on a Monday. Close behind are the atmosphere and the bar deals, with one reviewer calling the prices fantastic and another calling it their new Walsall local. Others mention a dinner-time Sunday spent looking forward to the game, a hair of the dog visit that ran longer than planned, and Thatchers Blood Orange now on draught. A few praise friendly bar staff. The complaints pull the other way. One reviewer says new owners removed the pool table, raised drink prices and left little atmosphere, and that many regulars now stay away for cheaper pubs nearby. Another watched a woman without ID being sent out loudly in front of the room. A third walked out after a young bartender left the bar without a word and nobody came back to serve.

“I was out the evening of saturday 26th september me and and my partner go here regular there was i serious incodent that took place involving other members of the public bullying my boyfriend so my boyfriend tried to defend himself, he was then grabbed by the scruff of the neck and threw to the floor by security hes only tiny and there were four blokes on him, my boyfriend is disabled and i think the way he was treated was absolutely disgusting and sickening if they had of caught his head one blow could of killed him straight off with his conditions. I understand that when situations happen they have to deal with it as quickly as possable, but to treat my disabled boyfriend like this they should be utterly ashamed of themselves never again will i drink here, i would rather spend my money else where, somewhere i know my boyfriend will be safe and treated respectfully. I would not advise anyone with disabilities to drink at this pub more so of a night time. Security are animals to say the very least!”

“Used to be a good pub, but new owners. Got rid of pool table, put up drinks prices , alot of regulars stay away , cheaper pubs nearby. Not got much atmosphere now.”

“Walked in and approached the bar. As I got to the bar the young female bartender (around 19 years) walked off without a word- leaving the bar unattended. No one came back to the bar, so I walked out. No excuse for not acknowledging customers”
