About Breakspear Arms
Breakspear Arms is a gastropub in Uxbridge on Breakspear Rd S, run as a village pub that pairs a North Indian menu with a British carvery. The Indian dishes include saag paneer and a mixed veg platter, and the menu runs through starters, main courses and desserts. Waiting staff bring food to the table, and crisps and peanuts are available as bar snacks. A banqueting room sits alongside the main dining area and gives groups a separate space. The pub opens daily.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for the food, describing the Indian dishes as full of flavour and generous in portion. One diner singles out the mixed veg platter and saag paneer, and another the desserts and a refreshing lemonade. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere warm, and several say they will return. One family was given a corner to themselves for a Father's Day meal, and that reviewer calls the meal pricier but justified by the portions. Criticism carries real weight in a few reviews. One group found the dishes overly spiced and unbalanced, saying they were told the kitchen rotates between three chefs and the least favoured was on duty, so the crisps and peanuts tasted better than the mains. Another reviewer says drinks had to be requested three times on a busy weekend. One diner reports finding dog hair on their plate twice, along with a large husky walking freely indoors that climbed onto a cupboard holding clean plates.

“We had an absolutely fantastic evening! The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and what really made the night special was our waitress, Irina. Irina was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, her service was impeccable, and she always had a smile on her face. She struck the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive, and her positive attitude really made our evening. A huge thank you to Irina and the whole team for such a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!”

“We came to the Breakspeare Arms as a family for Father's Day and had a lovely time from start to finish. We were given a corner to ourselves, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and private, and the atmosphere throughout was warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. I had the mixed veg platter to start and saag paneer as my main, both of which were full of flavour and properly cooked, and my lemonade was refreshing alongside. The desserts were a highlight too and rounded the meal off nicely. It's on the pricier side, but the portions more than justified it, and you certainly leave feeling you've had your money's worth. A great spot for a family occasion, and we'll be back.”
