  “Cannot fault this place. Plenty of seating both I door and outdoor. Never too busy, yet never too quiet. The drink options are amazing, and the food is even better. To top it all off, the staff are very friendly and welcoming people. A highly recommended pub.”

  “Came here last week for a friends birthday. Service was prompt and amazing + food came out on time and was delicious. Large selection of drinks too and kid friendly. Thank you Mia our waitress for giving us such a great experience and for being so helpful, we will be back soon 😊👍”

  “This place is awesome. So many cute nooks and crannies for an intimate date or a group catch up. I highly recommend the Sunday Roast. They have several options every week including a root vegetable wellington. Unlimited gravy. Perfection.”

  “Nice outdoor area, but seats and tables could do with a clean. Old bird poo on seats. Finger foods were not great. Chips were served in a pot which was badly chipped. The flatbread garlic with cheese had no garlic and very little cheese and was burnt within an inch of it's life. My partner's ham and cheese crocettes were ok according to her, but to me the y looked deep fried and burnt. I was glad I did not order a roast dinner. Will I be back. No, I don't think so.”

  “Visited today for lunch with friends. What a lovely pub and serves great food. We were served by Lauren who was fantastic. Really patient and gave us some great food recommendations too. She was extremely helpful and made sure she checked in on us throughout our meal. Nothing was too much trouble, very attentive. Lovely place and fantastic service from Lauren. Will definitely go back.”

  “Great evening!! Celebrating a friends 60th birthday! All the staff were fantastic! Manager gave us a huge table & allowed us to decorate it. Special shout out to our hostess, Nia who was on her 1st shift! Greeted with a huge smile, so incredibly helpful, polite, couldn’t do enough for us. Food was fabulous!! A great evening was had by all 🥳👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽”

  “What a fantastic pub! Driven past so many times but never gone in until now. Such a cosy pub and great service. Thanks to Sean and Amelia in particular both took such great care of us and making us feel so welcome, and the food by Reece and Becky was just spectacular (the duck and the Eton Nest in particular were spectacular), will definitely be coming back! Good size carpark too.”

  “Warm welcome? Not a chance. Staff are too busy to say Hi or to help. Infact 5 members of staff around the bar could not point me and my family to a table for 12 minutes. It's customer service at its worse. We arrived at 4.15pm for our 4.15pm booking. We are told to wait. Multiple members of staff go past us, no other customers waiting to be seated, circa 5 free tables, yet we waited 12 minutes, only for a waitress to nod a signal to let us know we can sit at the table she just wiped, and left wet! At 4.31pm we asked a waitress if we can order starters - none of the staff are interested in serving you until you call them and even then you feel like you've asked for a miracle.A random waitress tells us that Rachel will come and take our order. Order is eventually taken by Rachel. The food is very good. Fish is outstanding and chips were a tad undercooked. Chirzo is outstanding, calamari is NOT very good. Look at the photos, it's poor at over £7. But the entire experience is ruined with rude, misserable and unhelpful staff who clearly need customer service training. Upon exit I ask who the manager is. Shaun tells me that he is the manager but does not proceed to enquire as to why I am asking. Whilst we were there, the table next to us gets drink delivered a long time after ordering with an appology from Shaun and I beleive on the house. In a seperate instance a lady is complaining around 4 members of staff at the bar. Whilst the fish was outstanding, £85 for 2 adults and 1 child is not worth the money for service which is absolutely pathetic at best. I would reccomend that the owner provides customer service training to all staff, including endeavours to ensure that ALL custoners receive a warm welcome with better communication and, god forbid, a smile!”
