    “Called in for Sunday lunch after a walk along the nearby canal. Ample parking which is needed as the pub gets busy. As we were having an evening meal as well we all wanted something light but there is not much choice for that on the Sunday menu as the focus is on roast dinners. Most of us opted for fish and chips and it was really poor. Luke warm at the table and the batter was not crispy and it left a nasty aftertaste. All in all disappointed but I'm sure it can't be busy for no reason so have to assume the roasts are good.”
