Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the warmest praise here, with one diner calling a veggie breakfast cooked to perfection and another pairing a large breakfast with unlimited coffee that arrived quickly. Close behind, a lunch of pizza and fish and chips was described as generously topped and well cooked, with a reasonable portion of chips. Reviewers also mention reasonably priced beer, plenty of seating and a busy evening crowd, though one finds it hard to get a seat with a big group and another calls the place rowdy. The recurring complaint is order accuracy and attention. An ultimate burger arrived without bacon, one table received wrong drinks and had to ask three times for help before giving up, and another reviewer waited to be served in a quiet pub. A few also object to people smoking by the only entrance. One diner's gammon arrived without the chips that come with the meal, and the table was told to take it to the bar and pay for more.

“Our experience at Wetherspoons Solihull was appalling. A 20 year old had there alcoholic drink ordered in a meal deal removed from our table despite having a screen shot of her age and proof of identity. We was then informed we had to pay for a replacement non alcoholic drink and no refund was given for the Initial drink purchased. The only reason why we were told that she couldn't have alcohol was because screenshots of photo and date of birth were not accepted”

“It's a Wetherspoons, good reasonably priced beer, decent food and plenty of seating. If you just want to pop out for a few drinks and food without spending too much, where people are out enjoying an evening too, with no TVs and no music, then try this place.”

“Ordered a large breakfast with a couple changes but the Staff was friendly and patient, had a coffee which was unlimited for £1.89. Food came quickly, no complaints from me. The pub was somewhat busy, staff constantly walking clearing tables. Definitely will be back.”

“Shocking time… went in for a few drinks with friends after the England versus dr Congo match. Was met with a pair of rolling eyes from waiter Mitch when I asked for a pint of Diet Coke. We were barely there 10 minutes when I came back from the toilet to find my drink gone. Manager Lauren had taken my SOFT drink claiming I was too DRUNK. I’ve been sober for 5 years and was deeply hurt by this. Granted, my mates perhaps had a skin full but that’s besides the point. Awful and pointless trip, should’ve gone home straight after the football, utterly disgusting service AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”

“Its been a while since I last came here as the food wasn't great then but thought we'd give it another try, the food was alright although my order came out wrong, wrong drinks and thungs missing from what was ordered, when we tried to get some service to fix it i had to ask 3 times as no one came back to us and in the end we just had what we were given and left because we couldn't wait amy longer so not great again, I'll leave it another couple of years before i return again, see if it gets any better but so far 2 experiences within 2 years of each other and both weren't up to scratch, i know its cheap but other wetherspoons do much better so i know it can be better what it is.”
