Quick info
About Ye Olde Mustard Pot
Ye Olde Mustard Pot is a pub in Sheffield on Midhope Ln, dating to the 18th century and offering three rooms with a free English breakfast. The kitchen serves beef braising steak stew in a giant Yorkshire pudding with mash, and a gluten-free Yorkshire pudding is available for that dish. Curries also feature, including a chicken madras with rice and naan. Inside, a fire burns in the main pub setting. To the side and rear, a play area for children has a climbing frame, a slide, a big tyre swing and a bouncy castle. Dogs are welcome, so a beer or a meal does not mean leaving them behind. A large car park sits on site.

“Absolutely stunning! Friendly and helpful staff, great beer, melt in the mouth food, and after going all out for 4th July celebrations, I'm so happy to hear they're thinking of adding the Texas Burger to the main menu. Gorgeous garden area, with play zones for the kids, and dog friendly too! Highly recommend, and will 100% be returning as a regular customer 😋”

“We’ve hosted staff events here and had external catering too! I have to say wow. The hospitality from Jonny, Heather and the team is second to none. If you are feeling peckish and want some nice wine & lagers, this is defo the place to be. Amazing service, with delicious food with great veg and meat options too. Jonnys wedges are still the best I’ve ever had and you’d be forgiven for thinking he’s Indian with how good his curries are too. Pics are from a recent meal. Proper instagrammable Michelin star pub grub served with total humility and warmth in the most beautiful and cozy underrated pub you’ll find in the region.”
