  “Lovely, dog-friendly pub :) My partner and I have been in a few times now, once for lunch and twice for breakfast. The service is always great, especially as a coeliac they always make sure I’m looked after. Great selection of gluten free food and always delicious!”

  “Amazing location overlooking the valley. Inside is stylish and elegant dining area and a walkers style dog friendly main bar. Excellent wide choice of drinks and reasonable prices. The food looked and smelt delicious but we didn't eat there. Would love to return and try the food. Large easy car park”

  “We were recommended here for the food, which was fantastic. It has a great view opposite the pub and inside is welcoming. The staff are amazing, thank you Owen and Adam , who looked after us so well at a birthday lunch out and went the extra mile to make it special and memorable. I highly recommend this place, delicious food, wonderful staff and lovely surroundings. You could not ask for more, it was also very reasonablely priced for the great food we thoroughly enjoyed. This place wins on all counts I can't wait to go again”

  “We have not been to the Rodney for a couple of years as the food wasn’t good on two occasions, I hoped that things would have improved- unfortunately they haven’t which is a shame as it’s a lovely pub with friendly staff. I ordered the salmon which was mediocre at best, it came with a lukewarm sauce with prawns that didn’t look like they were cooked and semi hard boiled potatoes. My friend had the lasagne- I very small portion she said it was just ok but very overpriced for what it was. We then both ordered the apple crumble - we were suprised at how small the portions were and thought we maybe had ordered the mini version by mistake - we hadn’t. The apple crumble was so bad we had to send it back, we did have replacement desserts and they were much better. We both had a small pot of tea, this had a background taste of sterilising tablets. Such a disappointment and waste of money, we will not visit again.”

  “Party of 8 adults and one child under two, visited The Admiral Rodney today for a Christmas family get together. We chose from the Festive menu. What la lovely afternoon the atmosphere was very Christmasy with the tree up and the log fires burning. Our server was Jacob who did an excellent job and always with a smile. Our food was amazing with an excellent choice of starters, mains and puddings. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to Jacob and the rest of the team.”

  “Such a nice pub with gorgeous views. Food was great and hearty. Pub food more refined and a great Sunday lunch. Got the honey and truffle Camembert to start and the slow cooked pork belly with baked apple and it was delicious! Service was slightly slow but not a bad thing for myself as don’t like being rushed. Will definitely be returning!”
