Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the dog-friendly welcome, with dogs all over the pub and a landlord who walks round chatting. Real ales and craft beers come close behind, along with spirits and wine, though one reviewer found the five cask ales on their visit fairly predictable. The indoor space and the outdoor seating area, including the beer garden, draw steady praise, and the stone fireplace gets a mention. The upstairs function room with its own gin bar hosted a baby shower with catering and a funeral wake with a buffet, and both guests described the staff as friendly and helpful. At the baby shower, the group stayed well past the planned finish with no pressure to leave. The main complaint came from a Wednesday quiz night, when the music was so loud the barman could not hear a drinks order. Another reviewer noted the toilets feel limited for the size of the pub, and parking directly outside is limited. Live music on a Sunday is also mentioned.

“The guys have done a great job of the building. The atmosphere is usually great with dogs all over amd plenty of chat. Went in tonight Wednesday for quiz - shocking ! The barman could not hear our order, the music was so loud. Can't comment on food but it's usually a great pub - just hoping the din was a one off”
