Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the friendly staff, with servers described as kind, warm and welcoming, from checking on a upset diner to chatting in Spanish and acknowledging a birthday. The food comes next, with the chicken katsu and baos praised as delicious, along with a miso cauliflower lunch bowl described as fresh, healthy and tasty. Several say dishes arrive quickly, and one notes the presentation looked pretty. Diners also mention a good range of vegetarian and vegan options and a calm, inclusive atmosphere, with one pointing to the pride flag on the sign. The main complaint comes from one reviewer who expected more after a good airport visit and found the ramen broth had no flavour, making the bowl hard to finish. Others call it a regular, consistently great stop, and one returned after six years away and found the food and service just as good as remembered.

“I came into waggas today after a really rubbish day… I couldn’t keep it together a couple of tears came rolling. Daisy was kind enough to come over and ask if I was okay, she showed real empathy and immediately made me feel better as I waffled about what had happened. A real kind, genuine lady who Wagamamas are lucky to have. Exceptional customer service, aswell as a very friendly face ❤️”

“I came to a wagamamas for the first time with my friend not too long ago and the experience was definitely memorable! Came in and immediately got greeted with kindness, I believe their name was Rosie! Me and my friend were shown to our table after asked if we had any preference, which I thought was nice to consider. Ordered drinks and sides which came quickly and they tasted amazing! Soon after we ordered food and that also didn’t take too long to arrive and it was absolutely delicious. It looked so pretty too! ( I love food presentation ) Overall VERY happy with my visit here and I would definitely come back here again!! 👍🏻”

The food is fresh, healthy and very tasty. They serve a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options as well as alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. I would recommend this place.”

“It's been 6 years since we've been back to Manchester and Wagamama is the first place we chose to eat out! We remember the food and service being fantastic and it still is. We were served by Kenza who was honestly lovely — super friendly, kind, and easy to talk to. We started chatting because she spoke Spanish too, and she really went out of her way for us. Made the whole experience so much better☺️”
