Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the service, with several describing servers who made an anniversary, a birthday and a brunch feel like occasions, and the staff come across as friendly and welcoming. The food is close behind. Diners name the wagyu beef, the sweet and sour prawns, a rice bowl and the ice cream lollipops, and one notes that the set menu delivers more than it looks. The view and the DJ draw praise too, as does the upstairs lounge. The caveats are cost and a couple of small letdowns. Some call it expensive and put it down to the Gordon Ramsay name and the high view, one reviewer reporting a bill for two with no alcohol that was steep though expected. One found the tofu bao a bit meh. Another thought the bottomless drinks gave little value, with only two drinks in about 90 minutes. A guest paying with a brunch gift voucher was surprised that a service charge was still added to the food.

“We absolutely loved the restaurant and wow what a location! We tried their set menu and our favourite dishes were the wagyu beef and the sweet and sour prawns. We had the best service from Hika, she was so smiley and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The cocktails are also great and we will definitely go back for another special occasion!”

“Top place, wow what a view!!! Decor superb as you would expect from a Gordon restaurant. Service from our server was excellent (Sam) only his 6th cover he was approachable, listened and explained but without being over kill. The food was excellent everything explained nothing bad apart from the tofu Bao but it was a bit meh but other than that ideal. We thought it was on the expensive side and probably paying for Central London high view and the brand. Would we go back? Yes absolutely, we would like to see the sunset and go into the night and see what the vibe is like. One thing to note of you are thinking of bottomless drinks I'd consider if this worthwhile we didn't but only got 2 drinks in roughly about 90 mins while seated. We did venture upstairs to the lucky cat lounge and that was awesome!!!”

“We had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding—fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every dish exceeded expectations, and it's clear that a lot of care goes into both the quality and presentation. The service was just as impressive. The entire team was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel valued throughout our visit. A special mention goes to Abi, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Friendly, professional, and genuinely caring, Abi's exceptional service made our meal even more memorable. I couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Amazing food, outstanding service, and wonderful staff. I'll definitely be returning!”

“Had such an amazing evening at Lucky Cat Manchester! The food and atmosphere were already incredible, but Abi truly made the whole experience extra special. She was so lovely throughout the night. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, and it honestly made the night feel like a special occasion. It’s rare to come across service that memorable, so I just wanted to say a big thank you to her! Would absolutely recommend Lucky Cat Manchester and will definitely be coming back again soon.”

“We were given a brunch gift voucher by some friends for our wedding and we were certainly not disappointed. Super delicious food, a lot of choice, and our waiter Louis (?) was wonderful: so friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Thank you so much! Only negative thing, they automatically added a service charge to the food we had, even though we had a gift voucher? Surely the gift voucher should cover that? That was slightly odd.”
