  “7 of us went in on Sunday for food and drinks! We didn’t book but Danielle was more than accommodating and fixed us up a table! Food was delicious! Prices really reasonable and we all loved the atmosphere and hospitality! Age range of my group was 4 years up to 93.. and we all had a fantastic time!”

  “Went today to try the new menu… wow!! The tatter tots are incredible, and you can get them “loaded”. I also had the Greek style flatbread with chicken tenders, salad was super fresh, and the tenders are beautiful white proper chicken (not processed). The sauces normally come on the flatbread, but they were more than happy to put them on the side, at my request! Staff friendly as always, always a smile to greet you!”

  “Just popped in for a Sunday Lunch. Had the roast beef with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious. £13 was very resonable and there was plenty on the plate. Great veg too, with honeyed parsnips, carrots etc. There was even stuffing which I wouldn't normally expect, but that to, was delicious. The beer was good and the staff were pleasant and friendly. It's been more than 10 years since ive been in The Church, but I'll be going back very soon, possibly for breakfast (I'm hoping to persuade them to do some fried bread.) Congratulations to the the Landlady, good pubs don't happen by accident.”

  “Overall, this is a pleasant place with friendly staff. It works best as a spot for drinks, as the food was underwhelming. Prices are reasonable, but presentation left much to be desired. We ordered the katsu curry, which looked unappetizing, and the portion relied heavily on fries to disguise the very small amount of meat. If you’re coming mainly for good food, this is only an average choice. On the positive side, the dessert was enjoyable. In the end, I’d rate it 3 stars—thanks to the staff and pricing, but the food itself falls .”

  “Couldn't recommend this place enough! I used to go in every Friday after work at my previous job, and everyone (staff and customer) was always incredibly friendly and make us all feel welcome. I also booked a few tables for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and they were very accommodating. Food is great too!”

  “Been coming to the Church Inn now for a good number of years. Never had any problems what so ever, food is always on point. Danielle and her staff are always friendly and welcoming any time I come here. They never fail to have a conversation with me.”
