Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often credit the welcoming owners and landladies, describing hosts who make everyone feel at home, backed by a team behind the bar that gives friendly service. Close behind is the courtyard beer garden, called the best in the local area and in Manchester, especially when the sun is out. Football and other sport on multiple large screens come up repeatedly, including World Cup and Euros matches. Reviewers also name a quiz described as mint, a pool table and darts, and a decent variety of pints and spirits. Dog friendly gets a mention too. One birthday guest praised the DJ, food and drinks, and another singles out the chicken wings. Live music nights draw regular praise, including a Wednesday jam night with plenty of local talent, where the reviewer suggests bringing a guitar or singing voice, or borrowing one if needed.

“The Rock House is an epic community pub situated in the heart of Eccles. We're the only place to be for live sport, a catch up with mates in the sun-trap beer garden, hearty pub food and of course where the party goes on long into the night!”
