About The Bull Inn, East Farleigh
A tea room now runs alongside the bar at The Bull Inn, a pub on Lower Rd in East Farleigh, near Maidstone, pouring cream teas for anyone who wants something other than a pint. Set atop a hill, the wood-panelled interior has been recently refurbished, with large windows bringing light into the room. Harvey's is on tap, and the kitchen works through a short menu of around nine dishes, taking in a cooked breakfast and a Sunday roast that draws people back. A dartboard hosts a league in the evenings, and there is a pool table plus big screens inside and out in the beer garden. Live music is part of the calendar too. Dogs are welcome, and the pub opens daily, with walk-ins possible though some guests book ahead. A play area sits in the large garden, and there is a car park out back.

Customer Review Summary
The Sunday roast is what reviewers return to most, described as delicious and generous, with one diner rating it nine out of ten and another saying they would happily come every Sunday. Close behind is the cooked breakfast, called fresh, tasty and generously portioned, enough that one party booked Sunday lunch for the following day. Several also praise the beer, and the newly opened tea room serving home cooked food draws mention, alongside live music that one reviewer rates among the best locally. The interior gets described as light and calm, with no loud music, and the dartboard, pool table, big screens and beer garden come up repeatedly. Staff are generally called friendly and attentive, with reviewers noting the cook and the chef coming out to chat, though one visitor dissents sharply, describing the greeting as an atmospheric void wearing a bar uniform. Several urge others to support the pub, recalling the years it stood closed and boarded up before reopening.

“The food was delicious. The lovely lady doing the cooking was very passionate about the food and it shows. The bar had a good choice and in the evening there seemed to be a darts league. They also have a pool table and the big screens inside and in the lovely little beer garden where showing world Cup news. We will definitely go back.”
