Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the friendly, quick service, with several praising servers who explained how a dish would be cooked and kept the table informed while waiting. Among the food, the bang bang cauliflower and firecracker chicken stand out, with the Korean chicken bao buns and duck gyoza close behind, and one parent liked the kid's bento. Reviewers also mention the heated outdoor porch on a freezing night, lively communal tables, and a group of 11 with a reservation whose food arrived faster than expected. The main criticisms are about the dishes themselves. One reviewer found the tantanmen beef brisket ramen mismatched, with stringy shredded brisket and a half egg that did not suit the flavours, and another needed extra chicken because the firecracker chicken serving felt sparse. One reviewer also praised the allergy protocols, and another had staff patiently help sort out a discount reward card.

“Amazing experience at Wagamama Victoria Station today at 17:00! We were a party of three, seated outside at table 1410, and the waiter who served us was fantastic, attentive, friendly and genuinely helpful throughout. We weren’t sure if the meat in one of our dishes would be cooked the way we wanted, and he took the time to explain exactly how the chef would prepare it and personally made sure it came out right. That kind of care really made the meal. The atmosphere was excellent too, lively but comfortable. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name (he seemed to be South American or Spanish), but two thumbs up for his service — he deserves real recognition. Will definitely be back!”

“Wagamama is consistently good, and the Victoria branch is one of the best. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is always fresh, and the prices are reasonable. The long communal tables create a lively atmosphere and make the dining experience even better. A great place for lunch or dinner, and definitely worth trying at least once.”

“We passed by to have a quick dinner before a show and the place was pretty full, still we were able to get a seat and order. The food was good. The staff were nice, and the location was great.”

“I ordered the tantanmen beef brisket ramen, but unfortunately it wasn’t to my taste. The combination of Chinese-style beef brisket and Japanese ramen flavours didn’t work very well together and felt a bit mismatched. The beef brisket was served shredded rather than in chunks, and the texture was slightly stringy. The half egg on top also felt unnecessary and didn’t really match the overall flavour of the dish. The portion size was decent, but overall the bowl lacked balance and didn’t meet my expectations”
