About Timmy Green

Timmy Green is a brunch restaurant in London, set in an almost entirely glass building on a corner of Sir Simon Milton Square, where the glass walls bring in natural light through the day. The menu runs all day and draws on Australian cooking, with a health-conscious approach and a number of vegetarian-friendly dishes. Avocado toast arrives on dark bread with poached eggs and lime, and the banana bread comes with mascarpone and strawberries, either as a sandwich or as a plate to share. Pancakes, including a blueberry version, sit alongside a traditional English breakfast and other egg dishes for those who want a more classic start to the day. Lattes and other coffee are on the drinks list.

Customer Review Summary

Pancakes are the dish reviewers raise most, with blueberry versions praised as fluffy and a stack finished with cream and fresh blueberries. Close behind are the avocado toast on dark bread with poached eggs and lime, the banana bread sandwich with mascarpone and strawberries, and the green goddess salad with chicken. Reviewers also single out the coffee and lattes as excellent, and several describe the glass-walled room as light, relaxed and welcoming, with a corner view. Service draws mostly warm comments, including fresh flowers on the table and chocolates with the bill, though one reviewer wanted the staff to be more attentive on a very busy day. Cost is the main caveat: one reviewer found a single slice of tiramisu far too expensive for something that tasted fine with simple presentation, and another noted the bill grew with a donation and service charge. Another says the food took almost 20 minutes to arrive at peak lunch, and one found the sweetcorn fritters slightly undercooked and chewy. Several describe the food as arriving beautifully presented.

“I had the banana bread sandwich made with Mars Capone cheese, blanches almonds, strawberries, and a raspberry drizzle on the side. I think this is a creative breakfast item but it would have been so easy to screw this up and make it overly sweet, the real beauty of it is in the balance. The Mars Capone was light, strawberries fresh, and red was perfectly squishy and not too sweet. The lattes were excellent, as was the service. My son loved his blueberry pancakes, they look quite fluffy and excellent resembling a muffin top. It was a fresh take on blueberry pancakes”

“What an absolute gem of a spot near Victoria. Everything we ordered was presented beautifully and tasted just as good as it looked. The avocado toast on dark bread was a highlight, topped with perfectly poached eggs and a fresh squeeze of lime. We also tried the impressive stack of pancakes finished with a generous dollop of cream and fresh blueberries. The attention to detail on the plating is clear to see. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. We had such a brilliant time and will definitely be coming back again soon. What an absolute gem of a spot near Victoria. “I always love Australian brunches since I visited Melbourne couple years ago. I googled best brunches in London and it popped up for me. It was at the corner of the street and the view was amazing. Here's my order and I recommended the ones with stars. The flavor was special, somewhere you never tasted before. The only thing I may complain about is the food waiting time, it took almost 20 mins to get to your table at the peak lunch time. Understood but we were hungry Timmy's Cheesburger Smashed Avocado ⭐Portobello Mushroom Grilled Chicken Paillard ⭐Roasted Aubergine Salad”

“The place is really cute and has a lovely atmosphere, and the food was good. However, I honestly think the prices are much higher than what the food is worth. While everything was nice, nothing really stood out enough to justify the cost. The biggest surprise was the dessert. A single slice of tiramisu was £10.50, which I found incredibly expensive. It tasted fine, but it wasn’t anything exceptional, and even the presentation was very simple. For that price, I expected something much more special. Overall, it’s a nice place to visit, but I don’t think it offers great value for money. There are many other places where you can get food of the same quality for considerably less.”

“Went there for breakfast with a party of four. We've been served by Supro and Greg and they've been very attentive, humorous and lovely! Food was very good. We had the pancakes and the banana bread to share and all ordered a savory as well. Can definitely recommend this place!”
