“We came here to try the manty. The service was impeccable, the server saw we needed an extra chair and immediately adjusted our table accordingly and even gave someone in the group a blanket who needed it (we didn’t ask he just knew!). …”

“Oshpaz represents not just Uzbekistani food well, but also the warmth and friendliness of its people. The dumplings here amazing, plump and flavourful; and the plov is delicious. Could the samsy pastry be more flaky? Sure. Perhaps we got unlucky with older ones. But overall, Oshpaz is a hit and a delightful place to get a taste of the Silk road.”

“2.75/5 I tried Oshpaz once when they were based in seven dials market so I was excited to see they opened a restaurant, but as much as I wanted to love the food, I struggled to finish it. I had the tender lamb noodles with the broth and I think you could’ve picked out the lamb and made a singular puzzle piece out of it. The rest of the toppings were plain tasting vegetables and the broth itself was strangely acidic and lacked any depth of flavour. The beef dumplings fell apart as soon as you tried to pick them up. The yogurt/ sour cream dip they were served with added little to an already plain dish. The service and the atmosphere on the other hand were great, good vibes all around. I’m probably just not the audience this food is catering for.”

“As someone who loves Uzbek cuisine, especially Uzbek plov (pilau), I was delighted to discover OshPaz. The plov was absolutely outstanding, authentic, full of flavour, and easily one of the best Uzbek pilau dishes I have had in London. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and feels like a genuine taste of Uzbekistan. If you’re a fan of Central Asian food or simply want to try something different, this place is definitely worth a visit. The Uzbek plov is a must try. Highly recommended and I will certainly be back!”

“Love the food and service. There was a nice guy with his brother who served us and I talked to him in Farsi. He knew some poetry. Such fun to get to know other nations with shared history. The food reminded me of Persian and Russian foods. Definitely recommend white tea pot. It was very good.”
