Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the generous Korean BBQ set, with the bulgogi beef singled out as a favourite alongside soy short ribs and prawns cooked at the table, and unlimited lettuce and sauce. Close behind are the fried chicken combo in yuzu and gochujang flavour, the beef cold noodles, dumplings, and the black pork fried rice with a soft boiled egg. Several praise the soju cocktails and mocktails as refreshing, and the puppy-shaped chocolate mousse cake and yuzu cheesecake get repeated mentions. Staff are described as friendly and attentive, service as quick, and portions as good value for the amount of food. The main dissent comes from one reviewer who found the charcoal chicken dry and partly inedible, the kimchi pancake short on kimchi, and the egg in the spicy noodles overcooked. One suggests booking because it gets busy, while another was seated without a booking and found the staff accommodating.

“This is a great spot for Korean BBQ. We ordered korean beef cold noodles, soft shell crab buns and beef dumplings. Then for the BBQ we got soy short ribs and prawns with unlimited sauce & lettuce. These prawns were some of the best prawns i’ve ever had, really good size and so tasty on the BBQ. Would really recommend for trying something different. Really reasonably priced and would deffo come back! recommend booking as it does get busy”

“A very enjoyable and relaxing dining experience. The friendly staff was able to accommodate us even though we didn't have a booking. The food was well presented and full of taste. Considering it was in the heart of the west end it was good value for money. Highly recommend”

“I love korean BBQ and this place was amazing after a long day out at the theatre. The bulgogi beef and pork were my favourite meats to cook but they offer a large variety. The service was fast and you can get an unlimited amount of lettuce. The food was great quality. Definitely one of the better korean BBQ in china Town. Would come back again.”

“Really enjoyed our meal here. The £25 per person Korean BBQ set came with a really generous amount of food, and the meat was tender and well marinated. The dumplings were crispy and the rainbow gimmari was surprisingly good. We also tried the Korean beef cold noodles, which had a more savoury soy-based flavour — a little different from what I usually have. The highlight was definitely the puppy chocolate mousse cake. It was so cute that we almost didn’t want to cut it! 😂 Overall, good value for the amount of food, and I’d definitely come back to try more dishes.”

“Had a great dining experience at Hankki. The Bibim Naengmyeon was fresh and nicely balanced, and the Cheese Tteokbokki was a real comfort dish. The Prawn Rice was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, and great value for a meal in Chinatown.”
