About Caffè Concerto Piccadilly
Caffè Concerto Piccadilly is a restaurant at 29-31 Piccadilly in London, with desserts and cakes as a main focus of the menu. The kitchen makes croissants, patisserie and cakes in-house, churns its own ice cream and takes commissions for bespoke wedding and celebration cakes. The Chocolate Concerto is one of the desserts, and the wider menu runs from afternoon tea to meat and fish dishes and pasta such as Tagliatelle Smoked Salmon. Hot chocolate comes in a Caffè Concerto china cup with whipped cream, marshmallows and dusted cocoa. The dining room has marble tables with fresh flowers, and open windows onto Piccadilly where guests can sit. Tables are small and set close together. A braille menu is available for guests who read braille, and halal dishes are on the menu for guests who eat halal.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the service, with one server praised repeatedly as attentive, friendly and good at timing courses, and the staff described as warm and welcoming. Close behind are the dishes: tagliatelle with smoked salmon, bruschetta with halloumi, margarita pizza and spinach ricotta ravioli, usually with generous portions. Dessert and drinks also draw praise, including a berry tart, the Chocolate Concerto, a cappuccino and a hot chocolate piled with whipped cream and marshmallows. Reviewers also like the room and the window and sidewalk seating on Piccadilly, and one found the bill reasonable for four adults. The complaints centre on the kitchen's lighter items. One reviewer's pancakes with strawberry and banana were confirmed by the waitress as coming from a packet, with very little fruit, and another found the crepes hard, like reheated leftovers, and the honey vanilla latte more like honey than coffee. One also found the tables small and crowded, with coats and bags fighting for space. One reviewer called the salad the best they had ever had.

“Beautiful interior, visually. Tables small & crammed. Add in ur coats, you're bags fighting for space with adjacent tables. Menu looked great n was excited of what to have. Thinking what a great find thus place looks. Had the Floral tea,£6. Absolutely loved it. Had pancakes with strawberry & banana £20 - big disappointment. Pancakes were out a packet!!!! Waitress confirmed this. Didnt feel there was a whole banana and must ve been 2 strawberries cut very small. Id have been embarrased to serve this. You d get much better from a more renowned restaurant for less the cost.”

“Amazing food and great service! I came here for dinner with three friends yesterday, and we loved our meals! In my case I enjoyed a homemade lemonade was lovely, and the Tagliatelle Smoked Salmon was exquisite and served piping hot, so I could take my time and fully enjoy every bite. I also ordered the Chocolate Concerto dessert, which was delicious; I was so full that I took it home, and it’s still just as good! The service was very attentive and warm throughout the evening. We'll definitely be back!”

“Food was fabulous! We had the Bruschetta with Halloumi ( my new favorite cheese), Margarita Pizza, and the Spinach Ricotta Ravioli all of them were excellent. Our server Aniket J was exceptional. . He timed our course so they hit the table perfectly. He was right there when we ask for refills on our beverages. Atmosphere was perfect for a late lunch and good conversation. Even though the restaurant was busy it was not loud so my friend and I were able to have a nice conversation.”

“We had a lovely experience at Caffè Concerto Piccadilly. My wife and I stopped by for a relaxing break while we were in the area. I ordered a cappuccino, my wife had tea, and we shared a delicious berry tart for dessert. The cappuccino was nicely prepared, smooth and enjoyable, and the tea was served well. The berry tart was beautifully presented and tasted fresh, with a nice balance between the sweetness of the filling and the slightly tart flavor of the berries. It went perfectly with our drinks. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit, relax, and enjoy coffee and dessert, especially after walking around Piccadilly and central London. The interior has a classic and stylish feel, which adds to the overall experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. It’s a great spot for coffee, tea, and dessert in a very convenient location. We would happily visit again when we’re in the area and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant café experience in central London.”

“The atmosphere, decor, and overall vibe of the place are really lovely. Unfortunately, though, the crepes tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave — they were quite hard and not what I expected. I also tried the honey vanilla latte, which was extremely sweet. It was more like honey with a splash of coffee 😅. The toasties were not bad, and the staff were very kind and polite.”
