Quick info
About Chi Noodle
Chi Noodle is a halal pan-Asian noodle house and pub/wine bar on New Bridge St in London, set in a courtyard. The menu draws on Malaysian, Thai, Singapore-style and Chinese cooking, with laksa soup, roast duck with pancakes and Malaysian lamb curry among the dishes. Noodles come both stir fried and in soups, and small plates for sharing and rice dishes sit alongside them. The bar side serves a selection of beer and wine, so the place works as a pub as well as somewhere to eat. A wood divider features in the decor. Orders are placed at the counter.

Customer Review Summary
The complaints are specific. One diner found the roast duck a little dry and the sea bass vegetables and bean sprouts overcooked and soggy. Another found the Laksa spicier than expected and disliked the thinly sliced fish ball, which made a not-cheap dish look cheap. Some stools are called uncomfortable, and the room gets very noisy in the early evening because it operates as a pub too. One reviewer says a takeaway egg fried rice arrived fast and affordable.

“Absolutely LOVED the food! Spring rolls, chicken chilli dumplings, Laksa soup and stir fried noodles were great choices, can't wait to come back! The place was very noisy on early evening (~5:30-7pm) as it operates as a pub too - just be aware.”

“Love the food here. I usually come once a week after work . My favourite dishes are crispy noodles with seafood, crispy noodles with duck and Kimchi pork lettuce wrap (photo) Wine is great too - love their Viognier”

“The lady who assisted us was wonderful. My wife (Asian) had the Singapore noodles, substituted curry for different sauce and loved it. Duck eggroll were stuffed with duck, and the pepper calamari was perfectly prepared. Flash fried with a crunch on the outside while soft and tender inside. Sauces were also excellent. Great price, service, and food. Would definitely go again.”

“Really friendly noodle house & wine bar, just off the main drag in a cosy courtyard. Food was delicious with big portions. They have a decent selection of beers & a not-to-shabby wine list. Service was relaxed but attentive and they had a good selection of music playing, but not too loud. Also liked the decor, especially the wood divider for some reason 🤓 All in all very impressed, reasonably priced, highly recommend 👍”
