About OXBO Bankside

OXBO Bankside is a modern European restaurant on Bankside 2 in London, open daily. Weekends are built around a bottomless brunch, with wine, champagne or bubbles poured through a 2 hour table limit. The first course is a buffet of starters with allergens labelled. The second comes from a live station serving eggs, including Egg Florentine, along with pancakes and waffles. Saturdays bring main course sharing plates from the open kitchen, and Sundays bring a roast dinner with beef, chicken or a vegetarian roast. A dessert table follows, and a live singer walks around the restaurant during the meal. On weekdays, Wine Not Wednesdays pairs live jazz with two courses and bottomless wine, and Prosecco Fridays offers three courses with bottomless prosecco. The restaurant sits inside the Hilton London Bankside, with a table tennis table just outside its door.

Customer Review Summary

Bottomless brunch is what most reviewers come for, built around an unlimited starters table, a live kitchen course of eggs, pancakes or waffles, a main, and a dessert table, with bottomless wine or bubbles. On Sundays the roast is the centerpiece, with diners praising the beef, chicken and vegetarian options and vegetables that tasted homemade. Others single out the Egg Florentine, freshly made waffles and pancakes, seared tuna, tofu and edamame appetisers, and lamb and fish cakes. Staff draw praise in nearly every account, described as friendly, attentive and quick to keep glasses full, and a live singer moving through the room features in several. A few reservations appear: one reviewer found the variety a bit limited, and another found the roast slightly salty, though still delicious. One reviewer advises arriving on an empty stomach. Two birthday groups describe the team bringing out a cake while the singer performed.

“It was our second visit for brunch this past Saturday (23/05/2026) to OXBO at Hilton London Bankside. We were sad to see that the previous Assistant Manager, Zein Salloum, is no longer there, but we were absolutely delighted to meet the new Assistant Manager, Pedra David. Not only was Pedra fantastic, but the entire team was incredibly efficient, attentive and courteous. Pedra gave us a big, warm welcome. The food was great, as usual. While the variety is a bit limited, everything is made to an exceptionally high quality for the price—you are guaranteed to find something you like. The main course choices: lamb and fish cakes/balls, as well as the tofu and edamame and seared tuna appetisers were particular highlights. I remember there being an amazing gazpacho during our last visit in 2024 too! There was also a live singer who walked around the restaurant performing. The vibe was wonderful, the other customers were jolly, and we all had a great time—no doubt helped by the bubbles! We had been chatting about the table tennis table just outside the restaurant, and I was so pleasantly surprised when Pedra kept his promise to have a quick competition with me! All the best to the whole kitchen and service team. Thank you for the lovely food and service, and we hope to see you again soon!”

“Wow! We had bottomless brunch here for Father's Day and it was such a lovely experience. The decor is lovely and the staff are so friendly and attentive, constantly topping up drinks and chatting. The food options are great with a buffet for starter and dessert, eggs, pancakes or waffles for second course and roast dinner for the main. We had the beef which was delicious. The ambience was great, the had a live singer and we weren't rushed at all despite there being a 2 hour time limit on the table. It's not cheap but worth every penny I think 👌🏻”

“I had an exceptional dining experience at Oxbow Bankside. The ambience is elegant, relaxed, and perfectly suited for a long, enjoyable meal. The buffet spread was impressive, with a wide variety of starters clearly labelled with allergens. Everything looked fresh and tasted even better. A special highlight was the Egg Florentine from the live kitchen – freshly prepared, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The main courses were outstanding, with generous portions and rich flavours that truly exceeded expectations. Desserts were equally impressive – a huge variety from the buffet, along with freshly made waffles and pancakes from the live station, which were absolutely perfect. The experience was elevated further with bottomless wine and champagne, which made the afternoon feel truly luxurious and celebratory. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for anything more – it was one of the finest British dining experiences I’ve had in London. What made it even more memorable was the thoughtful hospitality. There was live music throughout, and the team arranged a small birthday cake with a candle while the artist sang for my friend’s birthday – a beautiful and heartfelt gesture. A sincere thank you to Restaurant Manager Yordan Ivanov and Zain for their exceptional hospitality and generosity, and a special appreciation to Manager of Quarter Abdul Sharief for the seamless coordination and care. My advice: definitely go on an empty stomach, because the variety is so tempting you’ll want to try everything – and you might regret not having enough space for it all! Overall, it was a perfect Sunday afternoon – outstanding food, warm service, and a truly memorable atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in London.”

“Sunday roast at OXBO Bankside was fantastic! The selection was amazing with generous options including beef, chicken, and a vegetarian roast on large plates. Unlimited starters and desserts made it even better. The roast itself was slightly on the salty side, but still delicious and very satisfying. Plenty of food and drink choices overall — definitely worth a visit for a hearty Sunday meal.”

“We had an amazing bottomless brunch afternoon here yesterday and the staff went above and beyond to make it a great experience for us. The food was brilliant and came nice and hot. Usually with roast dinners, the veg is a bit ropey but this veg was fantastic and tasted actually home made. I really enjoyed it! Also, special mention to Pedro and Lutfur. You were both so attentive and our glasses were never empty! The music and live singer was also great. Highly recommend this place!”
