About HAZ St Paul's
Turkish cooking meets a modern Mediterranean approach at HAZ St Paul's, a restaurant at 34 Foster Ln in London that has been operating since 2001. The kitchen focuses on grilling, and a cocktail list runs alongside the food. The dining room is large, and a group menu serves tables of 9 to 14 by booking, which suits big parties arriving together. A tiger prawn dish is among the plates diners order. The restaurant opens daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to group dining, with a table of 14 for a special occasion and a 9 person hen do both handled smoothly, and the large, spacious room is described as suitable for team lunches and business dinners. The tiger prawn dish is the one item named, and the food is widely called delicious, fresh and full of flavours, with a broad Turkish menu that one local likes to eat outside on a sunny day. Service is repeatedly called friendly, prompt and efficient, and the food is described as speedy. The caveats are split. One reviewer found the waiting staff bored and short on patience, calling the service mediocre. Another calls the food mid, noting that two people at one table ordered the same dish and one arrived covered in sauce while the other was dry. A third finds the large room a bit lacking in character. Several reviewers say they would return, and one says the staff treated them like family after a poor hotel experience.

“The food is so mid. Kitchen also needs to work on consistency, 2 people at my table ordered the same dish and one was covered in sauce and the other was dry.”

“Really lovely meal after a less than ideal experience with our hotel - the staff were prompt, polite and attentive, and the food was delicious, full of flavours and well presented - would definitely come here again, thank you!”

“We had dinner at Haz restaurant in London as part of a large group with the group menu. The food was good overall, though nothing particularly outstanding — just solid and enjoyable. The service was very efficient, especially considering the size of the group, and everything moved smoothly throughout the evening. The atmosphere is decent as well, though the restaurant is quite large and lacks a bit of character. That said, it’s definitely a suitable and convenient option for large groups and business dinners.”
