  “Really enjoyed our evening, nice and casual atmosphere, sitting outside. The food was fantastic, yuka fries were terrific, as was the brisket "bun", chicken rice bowl and pork belly on corn pancake. All with attentive service We didn't try the cocktails, but will be back again, so I'm sure this can be arranged...😁”

  “I don't know how authentic it is because I'm not versed in Venezuelan cuisine, but I can say that it was very tasty and the kids and lunch menu were good value. I was extremely pleased that the kids food is not just token chicken and chips etc but real food, which my son really enjoyed. If was in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to go if the lunch menu was on!”

  “This is a good example of an unethical business. If you don't ask for a "lunch deal", they will overcharge you. Upon arguing that I would be paying more for less value (since I didn't know I could get the starter), the server did amend it but another problem - she asked to pay online. This would normally be fine but not when there is a platform user fee. I had lunch past 3pm so it wasn't like the place was full but the default to get customers to pay more is unethical. Previously, we were told they can replace the cheddar in the cachapa for queso de mano but today, I was told no, even when I offered to pay extra. No, I would have to pay £6 for the sides and stuff it myself. This wouldn't work since cachapas already come closed and the cheese partially melted. Overall, this restaurant left a bad taste.”

  “Lovely staff. Amazing tasty food. Genuinly. I had the fat loss bowl and it was so flavourful and filling. The beef arepa was outrageous and the Yucca fries were so moreish. The coffee was strong.”

  “The arepas here are amazing. I’ve been here multiple times since discovering it. I always order the beef arepa, they are very generous with the filling. The prices are very reasonable too for what you get.”

  “The food is delicious! 😋 We went just after 1pm to have light lunch and it wasn’t busy, but popular with mums and families with babies in buggies. Lots of high chairs are available as you can see in the photos. The toilets were clean. The mirror was too high for my height that I could only see the top of my head in the mirror. They hire out the mezzanine or the whole space for private parties. The decorations and vibes are pretty good! 👍”

  “Came here for brunch on a Saturday. Found it easy to get a seat and service was friendly; the waiter was happy to share more details and recommendations about dishes on the menu. Food and drinks were tasty and I found my dish filling. The restaurant itself felt cosy, had a good selection of background music, and we did not feel rushed during our meal or after we’d finished. Would happily come back.”

  “We went to Arepa & Co and had such an amazing experience, it was our first time trying Venezuelan cuisine, and we loved it so much we went back two days in a row! We started with the Palm Salad, which was fresh and flavorful with grilled palm hearts, cherry tomatoes, shallots, capers, and lettuce. For our main dishes, we tried the Arepa Pabellón, filled with shredded beef, black beans, ripe plantains, and cheddar cheese, and the Pabellón Reina, a rice bowl with chicken, mayo and avocado mix, black beans, fried plantains, and cheese. The flavors in both dishes were incredible, especially the fried plantains, they were absolutely amazing! The restaurant also had tons of gluten-free options, which was perfect for my mum. Overall, it was a wonderful introduction to Venezuelan cuisine, and we can’t recommend it enough.”

  “The food was great, it was definitely authentic and scrumptious. It wasn’t overpriced and it was definitely worth a try. I highly recommend the guava juice (the best guava juice i’ve ever tried), yuca fries which is sooo delicious i nearly asked for another one, and the texture of their rice is really great i would recommend anything with rice in it with this restaurant!!”
