Customer Review Summary

Diners most often return for the shared platter, with lamb chops, ribs, wings, lamb and chicken shish, shawarma and Adana kebab over Turkish rice, which reviewers describe as generous, well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. Close behind is the complimentary Turkish bread, called the star of the show by one reviewer and the best Turkish bread they have had by another. It comes with hummus, salad and sauces, including a homemade chilli sauce and a signature sauce. Strawberry and original mojitos are repeatedly called refreshing, and one adds not too sweet. Others name the seabass, half chicken, lamb beyti, calamari and chicken wings, all described as full of flavour. Staff are called friendly and welcoming, and a parent mentions a kids' menu with nuggets and chips. The criticism is minor. One reviewer would change the decor and stop serving the bread in a pappadam tray, and another notes the flavours lean fusion rather than strictly traditional. Several describe the bread, hummus and sauces arriving at the table before the mains.

“We attended Adana Turkish Fusion restaurant in Bethnal Green on the 4 August for my husbands birthday celebration. It's a lovely, personal, intimate restaurant that is perfect for couples, families and friends. It has a nice atmosphere and it isn't loud so you're able to have a conversation without having to shout at each other. They even have a private room in the back for larger group bookings. We we both ordered the Seabass, one with bulgar wheat and the other with chips and of course the little one had to get the nuggets which was on the kid's menu. The food arrived with complimentary Adana's famous bread with humus, salad and multiple dipping sauces. (The Adana's famous bread is a must have ) The portion sizes are generous and the fish was cooked to perfection. We also had mojito's (virgin) one strawberry and one original flavour which was very nice and refreshing. On arrival we were welcomed by friendly staff and served by a lovely waitress called Sonja, who was extremely helpful and ensured we were ok throughout our visit.”

“Will always come to Adana for Turkish! We got Platter 1A, 1B and 2, lamb beyti and chicken beyti, which of course came with the free bread. I could’ve honestly filled myself up on the bread itself, the seasoning on it is unreal and a game changer with the sauces! The meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. I don’t usually have rice but even that had a lot of flavour, good combo with the kebab for sure! Strawberry mojitos were refreshing and not too sweet, very much needed in this heat! I’m not surprised that they’ve won multiple certificates, if that’s not a sign to go, look at the photos 🤤”

“Even though this place is on my doorstep I didn't think of stepping in to eat. Finally went today with my colleagues and it didn't disappoint at all. We ordered the platter number 4 and all the items were very flavourful and cooked perfectly. The bread was the best Turkish bread I've had by far and the sauces were spot on! We all thoroughly enjoyed it and all my colleagues were commenting on the flavoursome food. To top it off the brothers were people i recognised from childhood!! They were the best hosts. All the items on the menu was very reasonably priced. The restaurant was also very busy with diners. Will definitely be taking my family there. Thank you brothers for your hospitality and may Allah put barakah in your business😊”
