  “If you're looking to get away from the tourist crowds and experience a genuine local London pub, this is the place to go. The pub is absolutely quaint, beautifully decorated, and full of history and character. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with impeccable and friendly service that made us feel right at home. The traditional English food was outstanding authentic, delicious, and perfectly prepared (fish & chips and beef pie - the best i’ve ever had!). They also offer an excellent selection of local beers, making the experience even more authentic. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of both the food and the overall experience. I highly recommend this pub without any hesitation. It's a hidden gem !”

  “I’ve been coming to The Britannia in Kensington for a while now, and it has consistently been one of the most welcoming pubs in the area. The location is great, just off Kensington High Street, and the atmosphere has that proper London pub feel: relaxed, friendly, and reliable. A special mention has to go to Piyush and Sasha. They are a big part of what makes the place stand out. They are always professional, warm, and attentive, and they make regular customers feel genuinely looked after. You can tell they care about the experience, not just the service. The food is solid, the drinks are good, and the team creates the kind of environment that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a proper Kensington pub with great staff and a welcoming atmosphere.”

  “We had a wonderful party/dinner. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The service from Kamil and Sasha was excellent — warm, friendly, attentive and very professional. They made everyone feel welcome and well looked after, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared and enjoyed by everyone, so huge compliments to the Head Chef & Team. A special thank you also to Nicola for the excellent organisation. Everything ran smoothly, and it was clear how much care and attention had gone into every detail. It felt like the whole team genuinely cared about making it special, and that made all the difference. Highly recommended!”

  “Had a great leaving do here on April 1! Hired an upstairs room which was done out nicely, very convivial. Staff very friendly and helpful - drinks orders all handled downstairs, but always prompt and pleasant. When we ordered food, it came quickly and tasted great. Would definitely recommend if you're planning anything similar, or just want a nice, classy central London pub for drinks and eats.”

  “Popped in for a Sunday Roast. Really really good. Food was pretty much as good as could be expected on a busy Sunday service, delicious and well presented. Staff were polite and attentive without being intrusive. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Overall a very pleasant Sunday lunch.”

  “Just popped in for lunch. Delicious cauliflower soup and chicken liver parfait; did not get as far as a main course. Wonderful cosy atmosphere and some real ales on tap. Welcoming staff, good service. A great high class pub.”

  “The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The drinks were extremely well balanced. The service was beyond expectation, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing and cozy. This is the perfect place for a wonderful evening with friends. Raj attentive and ensured I was well cared for; and offered wonderful suggestions for pairing food and drinks. Raj also communicated very well and kindly the hours of operation and in more than sufficient time to make decisions before call. Raj was welcoming, inviting. The evening was a 12/10. When the evening was over, I felt I had spent the afternoon at a spa.”

  “Came here for a quick drink with my friends and the staff were super friendly. I didn’t get any food as they didn’t have gluten free options but my friend got their fish and chips and the size of the dish was HUGE! He also devoured the dish so I can only presume it tasted amazing. My food review is only a 4 as I didn’t eat but my friend said it was 5/5 for him. They also have a very small outdoor seating area for those that smoke and it was decorated and so beautiful. I will definitely be back there for sure!”

  “Came for a drink and a meal, first visit. Beautiful pub, smart and modern feel. Quite a large place inside, outside a few seats out the front, small outdoor seating at the side. Good choice of drinks at usual London prices. Food menu was good. The service was good, especially the gentleman behind the bar, welcoming, friendly and helpful, even offered us free tasters of the bloody Mary which was very much appreciated. Ordered food, which was very nice but no condiments or check back from the lady who brought the food, which was disappointing because I would have liked some salt and vinegar with my fish and chips. Overall a good experience though and definitely a place worth a visit.”
