About The King's Head, Earl's Court
The King's Head is a pub in Earl's Court, London, set on Hogarth Place, a quiet and mostly pedestrian street. The kitchen serves sourdough with Guinness butter, alongside fish and chips and a Steak & Ale pie. Homemade food and ales make up the core of the offer. The main bar fits tables into every nook, and a separate dining area sits apart from it. A pub quiz night gives the room a social event beyond eating and drinking. Dogs are welcome, so owners can bring their companions along.

Customer Review Summary
Fish and chips is the draw reviewers raise most, with the haddock described as perfectly cooked under lovely crispy batter and a good ratio of fish to batter, plus great chips. Close behind are the steak and ale pie, which one group called their first official English meal, and the toffee pudding that followed. Others single out the roast chicken platter, the sourdough with Guinness butter, the turkey breast special, a juicy burger and Korean chicken wings. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and quick, including a kitchen that squeezed in a late diner minutes before closing and a table held waiting for a reservation on a busy night when Chelsea fans packed the place. Some mention pub quiz night and music low enough to talk over. One reviewer found drink prices reasonable for London, and another had a beer served with lime that tasted really different and great. No recurring complaint appears. Several describe it as a local spot away from the tourist crowds, and one reviewer's Sunday roast mention rounds out the menu.

“This is some of the best pub fare we’ve ever had! We had the roast chicken platter and everything on it was delicious! The sourdough bread with Guinness butter is also not to be missed. Excellent service by Sumanth who was very attentive despite serving several tables. Can’t recommend enough.”

“Busy early Saturday evening packed with happy Chelsea fans after a victory. They accommodated our reservation and had a table waiting. Food was amazing. We're Canadian so we don't have a lot to compare our orders to but the Steak & Ale pie and Fish & Chips were just perfect. Also very good accommodating service on busy night. 5/5 All Day. Thanks for a great evening.”

“We love coming here as it's a nice local spot off the beaten path, avoiding the tourist crowds and getting some nice comforting food and drinks. Classic menu options for both food and drinks, with a Sunday roast option. Highly recommend to stop in for for a bite or a pint!”

“We went there for drinks before going to a nearby vegan restaurant. We were surprised by how pleasant the pub was. The music in the background was low enough to have a conversation without having to elevate one’s voice. The layout of tables was spacious. The service was friendly. The drinks pricing for London was very reasonable. The food menu looked pretty good too.”

“Cozy pub with super friendly staff and good food! We were scheduled to eat dinner with a tourist group here and stopped in early for a drink in the main bar. The main area is super cozy with tables squeezed into every nook and cranny. The steak pie was our first "official" english meal and it held up! Toffee pudding was ever better after. Thanks for the great introduction!”
