  “I had to use the Pub as a meeting point for my team when working in Notting Hill. The Staff were lovely and very helpful. The food was great but unfortunately I couldn't try the great looking beers as I was working. Thanks Guys. You really helped make my business trip easier. Especially in the rain.”

  “Kaitlyn and Hala were amazing and food was beyond outstanding. The customer service was beyond amazing. I called 4 places looking for a late evening roast and they were rude and unkind until I called the Hillgate and Kaitlyn was so warm and welcoming and told me they had a roast for me and to come along! I got there and asked if I could customise the roast to 3 meats and she did it for me and gave me price for all 3. Lovely wine amazing experiencing back. Coming back with a friend 😍”

  “I was celebrating my 40th in the private dining room which was such a lovely space to host our group of 20+. Nothing we asked for was to much and The team at The Hillgate are exceptional and catered to all our needs. Food is always 5 star and I would highly recommend this place for a casual drop in pint all the way up to celebrating in style like we did. Thank you to the whole team, especially noting Nadia and Alyshia! will be back very soon !”

  “Excellent pub. We used the private room for some drinks after our wedding ceremony. They fit all 18 of us in the room and the staff were very attentive to make sure we had food and drink. They were also very accommodating for us dropping off our wedding cake before hand and bringing it up so we could all have some with our family/ friends. Would definitely use again for an event in the future”

  “We came here for a roast dinner on a sunday and it absolutely hit the spot. I’ve been before for some beers and it was great then too. There are heaters outside if you choose to stay and booze. Worth booking as it was busy, we almost struggled with a booking for the time we wanted a month in advance. Good veggie option for the roast and amazing meat options”

  “Very nice pub tucked away is a side street close to Notting Hill Station. I was here on a Thursday lunchtime and it was busy, mainly due to a large group having a meal. However the service was fast and friendly. They had a couple of cask beers but I chose a rather nice Lunar Haze IPA at £7.60, about par for the area. The pub is not too large which gives it a homely feel, they do have some seating outside. One thing to beware of, they have joined the trend of card payments only. In summary a nice pub to visit.”

  “Visited here on a rare sunny Sunday after visiting the farmers market nearby in February, and was lucky enough to find a spot outside in the sun to enjoy a cold drink. After smelling and seeing everyone else's food, my stomach started rumbling, and their fish and chips were whispering eat me! The fish was fresh, light, fluffy, and crispy, as we're the chips too. The scotch egg was also one of the best I've ever had, and their sweet corn ribs were a flavour bomb too. This place is definitely worth a visit, and it makes sense that it's a local favourite spot.”

  “This has become our fav local pub in the summer as it has great outdoor seating. We came in many times and their Sunday roast was lovely. The chicken breast was really juicy and the beef was very well cooked so we are very satisfied with what we have. We also enjoy their steak and fries days as well as it is great value not to mention the huge portion of mussels for 20 quid.”
