About Famous Three Kings
Famous Three Kings is a sports pub in London, on North End Rd at number 171, right by West Kensington tube station. Around 30 TVs and a large projection screen show football and other sports, and the screens are visible from almost every area of the large, high-ceilinged room. Two bars share the building, and the right-hand bar holds the pool tables. The draught list includes craft and local lagers and cider, with two cask ales alongside. The kitchen turns out burgers, pizza and fish and chips, and the vegan options include a burger with a beef-style or tofu-style patty, sweetcorn riblets and loaded fries. Drinks are ordered through an app and paid for by the table. Music plays inside.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come to this sports pub chiefly for the football on screens everywhere, with a huge projection screen and a packed room for a big match mentioned alongside plenty of TVs. Close behind is the beer, with praise for a local lager, fresh beer and cider, and craft options. Vegan dishes get repeated credit, including sweetcorn riblets, loaded fries and a tofu burger with vegan cheese, while others found the burger decent but not the best. Reviewers describe quick service and kind, helpful bartenders, with one noting the feelgood 90s music while another found the music overly loud. Food is the main complaint. One reviewer got a Barbie Chick pizza that was mostly cheese with a bare sprinkle of chicken and bacon after a long wait, and the manager only apologised. Another called the nachos a joke at their price and said the beer tasted as if the lines were not cleaned, after the ownership change brought a changed beer selection and a removed dartboard. One reviewer liked ordering and paying by the table through an app.

“🚇 West Kensington 🍺 £6.00 Amstel This imposing pub is located at the junction of busy West Cromwell Road and North End Road in West Kensington, West London. The nearest Tube is West Kensington. The pub started life as The Three Kings and dates back to 1805. The present Edwardian building was rebuilt in 1902. The pub has had several names over the years, including The Nashville Rooms and Via Fossa, before becoming The Famous Three Kings in 2000. During the 1970s, the pub became famous as a major live punk and pub-rock music venue. The Sex Pistols performed here in 1976, other acts included The Stranglers and Elvis Costello. This is a large high ceilinged, two bar pub that is mainly traditional, with a few contemporary touches. The bar to the left is quite long and opens up towards the back. There is a more intimate, raised central area and a spacious bar to the right, complete with pool tables. The decor varies depending on which area you’re in: bright on the right, bold in the centre and darker on the left. A nice feature was the brick fireplace, and it was great to see a pub carpet, although fairly tame by comparison. There are also around 30 TVs dotted around the pub, visible from almost every area. The beer selection was pretty solid, with a range of familiar favourites, beers from local independent breweries and two cask ales. I opted for an Amstel, my pint was great, price point was average. Food wise, there is a range of burgers and pub classics, fish and chips costing £15. I arrived just after 8 pm on a mild Thursday evening in April. The pub was fairly busy in the left hand bar and packed in the central section, where a celebration was taking place. Europa League football was showing on the TVs, with Notts Forest v Porto grabbing the attention of plenty of punters. The service was on point, I was served in good time. This is a big old boozer that will really appeal to sports fans. Loved the musical ties, and the grand nature of the place. There’s a good choice of beers and the surroundings were comfortable. An enjoyable visit was had. 📅 16th April 2026”

“Great pub in Kensington, we went there twice and everything we tried was good. The people were very kind and made us feel welcomed but strangely what we liked the most was the music. Pure feelgood music from 90s... Would definitely recommend”

“We enjoyed some classic pub food and a pint of beer here. Service was very fast and the food was very good!”

“Had loads of great memories here, but it’s really gone downhill since the ownership change - you can feel it as soon as you walk in. Beer selection’s changed, no Amex or MiXR, dartboard’s gone. Gave it a fair shot but the food was poor (£15 nachos is a joke) and the beer tasted like the lines hadn’t been cleaned. Real shame - this place used to be incredible.”
