About Earls Court Tavern
Earls Court Tavern is a British pub at 123 Earls Ct Rd in London, a short walk from Earl's Court station. The kitchen puts vegan and vegetarian options on the same menu as its pub classics, including a Beyond Meat burger, so plant-based diners have their own choices at the table. Fish and chips and steak and ale pie cover the traditional side. Guests order and pay by QR code, or pay cash at the bar, and the staff bring the food to the table. Reservations are accepted, and walk-ins are also seated. The bar pours real ales and cask ales alongside wines and soft drinks.

Customer Review Summary
Burgers are what reviewers return to most, including the vegan Beyond Meat burger, the cheese and bacon burger and a katsu chicken burger, all described as perfectly cooked, delicious or excellent. Close behind are the steak and ale pie, mac and cheese with hot sauce, and roasted chicken with a classic English pudding, with several calling portions generous for the price. Vegan and vegetarian options draw thanks, and the staff are repeatedly called friendly, quick and attentive, including one who offered alternatives when cranberry sauce ran out. Food is the main complaint. One diner found the sausage and mash thin on mash with gravy like instant Bisto, and the fish and chips lacked flavour. Another party of three called their fish and chips dry and starchy after a long wait, leaving half the plate uneaten. One reviewer found drinks overpriced, and another found the pub loud and more commercial than others. Pints of Jubel and Peroni got a happy mention, and a solo traveller paid by QR code.

“We only had one night in London before heading off on another trip, and we were craving some British classics, but we left pretty disappointed with the food. We ordered and paid for our food and drinks using the QR code, which was convenient, and the staff brought everything over once it was ready. The sausage and mash was honestly the saddest sausage and mash I’ve ever had (see pictures). There was barely any mash for the number of sausages, and the gravy had no onions and pretty much tasted like instant Bisto. The fish and chips was a decent size, but both the fish and the batter lacked flavour. The drinks were overpriced as well. The pub itself looked nice and cozy, and the staff seemed friendly. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing and not the British pub meal we were hoping for.”

“Checked this place out as a solo traveler and the staff are super friendly. Pay cash at the bar or order threw their QR code and pay by card. Foods good too!”

“Pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was! Steak and ale pie did not disappoint. Mac n cheese with hot sauce also very very good. Hot and fresh , Staff was welcoming and friendly. So glad we walked in and gave this place a try! Jubel and Peroni. Why isn’t Jubel available in the US !?! Definitely would come back again.”

“Went to this pub because wanted to try fish&chips, reviews we're good but what a disappointment! Waited for the food atleast 50 minutes. Chips looked good but potato tasted really starchy and dry. Fish was big but also dry, didn't have any taste or even salt. Three of us ordered the same food and had the same bad experience. Left the restaurant half plate still uneaten..”
