  “Vasil and Gary are great bartenders and we always have a great time getting served by them! The Alice is great fun, especially when the DJ plays songs that we can sing to! The Ibiza style club music isn’t appropriate for a bar on a Thursday night, please can we turn that off. If you could get a guitarist/singer I would certainly turn up far more often, that’s a far nicer vibe/energy for people who have just finished work than soulless mind-numbing base tracks. And more bars should support local artists.”

  “As soon as we walked in we were greeted and sat down. Menu explained and served by Gary, very attentive and friendly. The food was nice and great variety of drinks. Nice venue, was a bit quiet but people also sitting outside. Would go back👌🏽”

  “Food was pretty tasty, stopped for a quick bite and a pint The atmosphere is nice, bisto / restaurant style with ample seating unless reserved. Staff are friendly.”

  “We had an amazing time last night for bottomless brunch, the gentleman who served us, Gary was a gem! Great character and he was lovely! We had the Beef Smash Melt burger and the Chicken Caesar burger and both were gorgeous. The drinks were freshly made each time, very well made, made substitutions for my allergies to pineapple and very attentive for our next drink. We are from Surrey but would definitely travel all the way back just for the service alone! Great atmosphere also and the price is definitely worth what you get. Thank you so much for the amazing night celebrating my partner's birthday.”

  “A good place for a quick pub lunch during your lunch break. Did the lunch time deal and had a chicken burger. It came quickly despite the lunchtime rush. It was quite busy but still managed to find a table. Not a place for tourists or people looking for a nice lunch. But for a quick break from the office - perfect.”

  “Food wouldve been an easy 4 star if it wasn't for the terrible disgrace of a burger. Look at the photos it was embarrassing for them. They offered me a new burger but who would waste their time after that disgusting display. They did give me my money back for the knion rings as well which I didnt ask for. They also offered I keep the burger but no thanks looked terrible. The rest of the bar was great also the food but if a burger.... which is an easy win in any place is that bad its either a fluke the burger is that bad, or a fluke the other food was good. Either id prefer not to gamble with that. The toilet seat in there was loose to the point of falling off. Seems like they just cared about the big wins but the small stuff that isnt directly in your face they didnt care about.”

  “Always enjoy a visit to The Alice as the food is great value for money, and it's always busy no matter the day of the week. Sadly, this time around we had an issue with the bar staff giving us the wrong drink and not knowing what certain spirits were so we couldn't order what we wanted; maybe a little more training there is needed or member of staff could have been new, so we won't let that put us off!”

  “A large spacious pub with sport on large screens. I was only there for a drink with a friend and the Guinness was very good. However this pub did not seem to have any atmosphere at all, so I wouldn't choose to return.”
