About The Liberty Bounds
Near Tower Hill in London, The Liberty Bounds is a pub at 15 Trinity Square, set in a historic building with a fake library on the staircase that gives the stairs a bookish touch. Seating runs across two floors, and the upper floor is used for seating when the pub is busy. Guests scan a code at the table to order through the app, so nobody queues at the bar, and the team brings orders to the table. Drinks can be customised with juice or lemonade, and hot drinks are refillable. Sport plays on the TVs, and the front seats look out toward Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Train stations and bus stops are close by.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come mainly for cheap, quick meals and drinks ordered through the app, with refillable hot drinks, a lasagne with salad or chips, a sweet potato, chickpea and spinach curry, and a Spice Bag with "quite a kick" all named. Several praise the value for central London and the views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London from the upper floor. Servers are often called friendly and quick, with one who engaged with unsettled kids and a manager who helped track down a lost sweater. Drinks arriving within minutes and a pint to go also draw mentions. The complaints are about upkeep and food quality. Reviewers describe tables left uncleared, with one having to clear their own, and one says all the food arrived freezing cold and staff seemed blunt. Another found the onion rings poor and both the vegan and beef burgers a little dry, with one waitress covering the whole top floor on a busy Good Friday. Even so, one reviewer returned every day of a six-day London stay.

“My girlfriend and I visited London for 6 days and we came to liberty bounds every single day of our stay. We were willing to walk 30 min everyday from our AirBnB because it was such a great deal. We were fascinated by the customization options (add juice or lemonade) since we don’t have that here in Toronto! They also offered options to take a pint in the park (pint to go)! My girlfriend also lost her sweater the first day we visited and the manager Danny went above and beyond to find it for us! Highly recommend for great drinks, great prices, and a friendly environment especially in Zone 1! Not to mention…. We received all our drinks within 1-2 min of ordering. The pay as you drink feature is really convenient!”

“Came here for a cheeky spoons breakfast, we managed to get seated easily even on a Saturday and we ordered on the app. We were served very quickly and Osman brought our refillable mugs within a couple of minutes. The food was what you would expect from a wetherspoons, cheap and cheerful but for under £8 it was great. Won't get better value for money in London. Our server was excellent. Osman went out of his way to not only check on us and make sure we knew where everything was, but also engaged with kids that seemed unsettled. He was very friendly and polite and deserves a pay rise (tried my best Osman). Would highly recommend.”

“Possibly the nicest Spoons we've visited The food is great and better value in this location than other establishments. Drinks are nearly half price in comparison too. Great location with view of Tower Bridge and The Tower of London . It was quite busy, but we found a table on the upper floor. Great decoration and atmosphere. We tried the Spice Bag which had quite a kick. Ordered from the app, just a 10 minute wait. Definitely worth a visit.”

“A large two floor Weatherspoons pub with views of The Tower of London and London Bridge. This pub gets busy later in the day, but for breakfast it is quiet and calm. Staff are quick and friendly. A good place to stop for cheap food while in London.”

“We have visited this pub many times but this time it was awful. I understand its just a spoons and its in london but you still expect some sort of niceness. All the food we ordered was absolutely freezing cold. Nothing was nice to eat. When we arrived we had to clear our own tables and there was no staff doing it. I have to admit the staff weren't very welcoming at all. Very blunt and to the point. No grace or nothing. We always usually go here when visiting the capital but definitely will avoid in future. I know its cheap and your paying for what you get but I would like some kindness and at least hot food.”
