  “This was such a fun pub!! The food was so good, really hit the spot during a rainy visit in London. The atmosphere doesn't get more picturesque than this place. A total classic London pub (at least, what I picture as a tourist) The staff was very friendly and if we're ever in London again, this place will be on the list of must-go-to pubs! We arrived at 11:30am for lunch and it was empty, however by the time we left, it was full. Highly recommend a reservation for peak meal times.”

  “I just happened to be passing by and came in for a beer. I found that although the pub was busy and had a constant stream of customers, I could still find a quiet corner to quietly, comfortably, and slowly savor a good beer.”

  “Great place overall! We enjoyed the food, and it was a regular pub atmosphere where you order at the bar. The banana cocktail that I got was very good! And I got the duck hash, which was unique and tasty.”

  “Wau 😍 This amazing, authentic British Pub, The Bag O'Nails, is everything an excellent pub is- outstanding selection of food and beverages, staff are very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere here is very positive, welcoming, relaxing and all the way through very enjoyable. We enjoyed delicious fish and chips and the most delicious burger 🍔 😋 when we came to visit yesterday on the Bank Holiday.   “I'm from San Francisco, so I wanted a fun pub. Walked in around 6pm and it was packed. I ordered a Scotch egg and sausage roll... Fantastic!! Good beer selection. Ask to share a table when it's busy. I wish I was here for Sunday roast, whatever that is!!! ❤️❤️❤️”

  “Was a really nice meal we enjoyed the food. Unfortunately found the service very minimal and rude. I find it hard to complain but feel if I was the owner I would want to know. We came in and the tables prior and whilst we were there were never cleaned. The place was not busy and people were sitting at dirty tables and no effort was made to clean them. Plates were left a long time after people left and were cleared away when had to be if people sat down it felt. Behind the bar never greeted never thanked or acknowledged in normal manner. I really felt they did not want us to be there and had a serious attitude problem. We all have bad days but basic customer service can still be done. Their expression said it all . The other person was friendlier but felt they still were not looking round to clear and clean the tables that was a minimal effort . Also the toilets were fairly shocking and disgusting and our visit felt an inconvenience to the staff . What we have paid was not worth the visit but will say as mentioned the food was beautiful shame about the not even basic service.”

  “Bag O’ Nails delivered a fantastic experience that went beyond my expectations. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked—crispy, golden batter with tender fish inside, served in a generous portion that left me more than satisfied. The flavor was classic and comforting, exactly what I hoped for in a pub favorite. What really made the visit special was the staff. They were warm, approachable, and genuinely friendly, making me feel right at home. I appreciated how they took the time to explain the menu and answer questions without rushing. Overall, it’s a spot I’d happily return to again.”
